Would have absolutely took any victory given their home record this season, so well chuffed with the result!

Second half, though, didn't think the tactics were going to work out.

But for a team who has scored about 4 goals at home per goal conceded, they were mainly restrained to long shots.

We've moaned often enough in the past about not getting this kind of result often enough, not having the guts to win ugly, but we did it tonight.

All to do in the second leg, but our defence is very solid. Should be interesting!

great result, disappointed we couldn't hold onto the ball second half but very disciplined, very much like an away european game, massive game at Anfield in a couple of weeks should be rocking

Phew thank Allah it"s over , i think we lost the game plan 2nd half, Glen was lost for position when Downing came off, but we hung on in and have the away advantage.
