Liverpool v Oldham

Hi everyone. I'm an Oldham Athletic fan and I would just like to thank all your players, coaching staff and fans for the way you all handled the incident last Friday. Also thanks to all your fans that posted some great comments about my team - it's nice to know that you appreciate that we tried to play football against some of the country's best players. You are a credit to football - if we had played against the red part of Manchester all would would have received was abuce and constantly told that we had been pasted!

Like I posted in another topic it would have been easy for Oldham and its fans to jump on the anti Liverpool bandwagon but yiz didn't and I for one am greatful for the kind words

Well played sir, my mate who supports Oldham has the same views. Good bunch of supporters and a team that looks as if it can gain promotion if they play like they did in the first half against us. Best of luck

I love it when opposing fans do this, it's the easiest thing in the world to follow the generic thoughts given by the press concerning LFC but you've proven you have your own mind and that's a genuinely good thing.
