Dont like Carra Skrtel AND Coates playing either 3 at the back or Carra at full back with Enrique pushed up. Either way 3 cb's at home is nasty looking.

Looks like 5-4-1, well i wasn't expecting this. He's gone for Coates for height in the box.

I remember when Kenny first came back was playing 5 at the back, should get to see Enrique and Johnson pushing forward.

Yeah Im not one who takes been proven wrong badly mate. Just on first glance looking at that 11 no matter what formations I think of that 11 doesnt look like a team going to get the juices flowing. Why, as I think that team suggests, are we changing to suit Stokes style? We should be able to play them off the park and not have to worry about them

I'm guessing Agger's being rested completely as we have a busy January and he'll be crucial in the two Manc games towards the end of the month? Surprised to see Maxi not in the squad at all too.

Coates playing so that he's an aerial presence in both boxes - sensible decision. Why Carra's there though I have no idea, unless he's playing the holding role?

Hoping for some good link up play between Gerrard and Kuyt, that's where most of our joy will come from I'd say.
