      10m is a good price. Couple years left in him and always scored goals.

      Don't think Harry will let him go, though. Not now at least with Adebayor out.

      Whilst Liverpool have had a bid accepted by Spurs for Striker Jermaine Defoe. Fee expected to be around £12m. Exclusive in times tomorrow!

      Back to LFC: Just small details remain until Defoe makes his move to Anfield, whilst LFC also close to agreeing a deal in Holland.

      Don't think he's the answer but I wouldn't moan at bringing in 2 strikers now, defoe / suarez would work well together, a front 3 of bellamy/suarez/defoe would be exceptionally mobile and good to watch.

      @RorySmithTimes any truth that in the Times tomorrow that you have a excclusive on defoe to L'pool for £12m

      Rory Smith @RorySmithTimes
      @Hertslegend None at all. Not to say they're not interested in him - they might be, not sure - but no story about a bid tomorrow.

      HATE to reignite this one but;

      Betting News: Jermain Defoe now 6/4 to move to Liverpool, while Kevin Davies is 9/4 to leave Bolton this transfer window. Find all our transfer specials here

      Add into mix that Saha going to spurs and rumours of Rodallega signing tonight, means some spurs strikers must be leaving;

      Adebayor, Defoe, Pav, Rodallega, Saha, (Dos Santos), (van der vaart plays second front man) - Surely not all of them are required?

      Leaving it late if it's going to be done. I'd love to see Defoe in a red shirt. The downside is that Spurs are a nightmare to do business with as they always want players on the cheap and always want too much when selling.

      I would live to sign him. He is quick, a natural goal scorer and think he would work well with Luis.

      Would love this signing. Doubt it's gona happen but on transfer deadline day you never know.

      Didn't think we'd sign anyone, but had a feeling that this might have something in it.

      I know Kenny said nothing would happen but why would he say anything to draw attention to any possible move.

      I know how this is going to sound ffs..;D.. But, Jermaine's sister's partner is a work colleague of mine.. He says Jermaine is going nowhere. He'd only go to Arsenal (fan) or to Spain... Apparently..
      He's deffo part of their family but for him to know about potential moves I don't kno..??

      And yes, I could potentially be the worst ITK ever..;D  But that's what he said.. I said in jest to have a word and he rubbished me with that statement..

      The plot thickens eh!

      I'd take Defoe here but I'm still not convinced we will make any moves today but a forward who scores goals would be a good addition to the squad.
