That's a crazy! He's the closest thing we have to coutinho,  I'd start him over Lallana now. I remember watching him playing for the reserves, he can shoot, passing and bring the ball forward.
I'd put money on him taking his opportunity if Klopp gives him his chance from the start.

he is 23 years old and has done ziltch for the first team.

keep your money, he aint starting in the prem. His best chance to start is against west ham on tuesday.

keep playing fifa you never know one day you might wake up

is that an attempt at humor?

This guy has no burst of pace, when i have seen him play he has one tempo. He is far from good enough.

fact that we have brought plenty of attacking midfielders since he has been here should also be a clue.

He's done Ziltch for the first team because Brendan preferred to play Allen every bloody week!
I'll agree to disagree with you on this one!

I think he deserves a start in the prem.
The last game, amongst many others show that we desperately need to change it up.

Not doing it for me do it for me is this guy. Decent enough on the ball (though nothing special) but hust doesn't do the good stuff off the ball in my opinion.

Think we need to see him in a prem game.
I think if we played him surrounded by a stronger line up that he might do well.

      Think that's backwards.

You normally see a player look head and shoulders above his peers so you move him up to play with the big boys.

You don't say "Well he looks about average compared to the rest of his peers but maybe if we put him with better players he'll look better".

tbh, I think he has played well in the games he's played in, hasn't let himself down and looked out of place imo.

Good player but don't think he is anything 'special' which is then hard for him to break into the first team.

Fiorentina apparently. If so, good luck to him. Really think hes a fantastic footballer and was hard dealt by the serious spine injury he had combined with Rodgers not taking a gamble on him.

Agreed but I do feel there's something about his attitude we're not aware of.

There was no co-incidence in Jürgen leaving him out of praise when he reeled off the younger lads names twice this season. I'm not surprised to see him leaving and suspect we'll find out more when he leaves.

Good luck to him, I always thought he had the tools to progress in the game but if you don't have the attitude (of course this is speculation on my part) then you're always going to struggle.

      Possibly mate

He's never really struck me as a kid with attitude though on what we see, or hear.. Suso for example you heard his was sh*te

Personally I think it's a combination of a few things, luck, his age and the other options we have in the role he plays.

He's nearly what 23? That's no kid anymore, Klopp has has a look at him More than Rodgers did.
Seemingly his best role is a #10 and we have more seasoned pros in front of him for that role in Coutinho and then also Lallana and Firmino, if Coutinho wasn't fit I think the manager turns to either of the other two first and if reports are to be believed he is looking to add to that part of the pitch in the summer.

The lad is talented and will make a career out of football but maybe not at the top level.

Read about this a few days ago but wasn't sure about the sources. It'll be a good move for him as long as he doesn't go over there to be a bench warmer.

could he go to Brighton on a free if they come up this year? ( if they want him ) as he had a very good loan spell for them?

I like Teixeria and likewise, Ilori, kinda bummed they haven't had much game time, especially Ilori. It just doesn't seem to be happening for them, does it? I think they should try to get a move to a La Liga or Portuguese team where a slower paced football with more emphasis on ball playing would suit them and possibly revive their careers.
