I have no idea where to post this, but as it is about LFC, it's here.
A cat which ran on to the pitch during Liverpool's Premier League home game against Tottenham Hotspur has attracted 30,000 followers on the internet.Sam, as Anfield staff know the cat, has an uncanny resemblance to Moglet
The grey and white tabby wandered across the turf before being scooped up by a steward.
Within minutes the cat was an internet sensation with at least three spoof Twitter accounts claiming to be the Premier League's new star.
The cat's owner is yet to be identified but staff at Anfield know it as Sam.
'Long-lost relative'
Twitter accounts @AnfieldCat claims to be the "official twitter of me, the Anfield Cat" has more than 25,000 followers while @liverpoolfccat claims they are the "first, the original Kop Cat", has more than 4,000 fans and @CatAnfield has almost 3,000 followers.
The feline walked on to the pitch 11 minutes into the game.
Liverpool FC said it bore an uncanny resemblance to Moglet, an abandoned cat which became the club's unofficial mascot in the 80s.
Moglet was adopted by the club's ground staff after being left outside the stadium gates and was considered a lucky omen by the players and staff.
A spokesman for the club said: "With King Kenny's men back at Wembley in the Carling Cup final this year, is this new cat a long-lost relative of Moglet?"

It was adopted by the club's ground staff after being left abandoned outside the stadium gates.
Moglet was considered a lucky omen by the players and staff at Anfield at the time, though our feline friend from the 80s has long since sadly passed away.
However, with King Kenny's men back at Wembley in the Carling Cup final this year, is this new cat a long lost relative of Moglet?
Decide for yourselves by comparing the two pictures below.
