Im not on twitter but Ive got wind of this. A Liverpool fan tweeting asked Barclay "do you get any lower then taking murdochs cash"

Barclay replied "see your point, but yes, you can, for example you can be in a crowd that crushes 39 people to death"

What the fuc*. Surely as a journalist and whether on twitter or not he cant come out with that can he? If this is legite he needs to be hung for it. And its further proof of how were viewed by the gutter press

This c**t is being punished all over by other journos and football fans,even some mancs.He made a huge mistake that will cost him.He describes himself as a ¨journalist and Biographer¨ should know more than anybody else what to write,what is right and what is wrong in his job,what he did is a serious offense,unacceptable.

The self-proclaimed "The John Terry of journalism" has shown his true colours more often than not. He may try hiding behind semantics but his cheap shot was designed to antagonise Reds into a response and thereby lift his flagging profile.
