Commentators saying that a sprint between Armistead and Voss is too close to call? Who would come out on top? Exciting stuff!

They both look so strong it's anyone's guess!  And Zabelinskaya could produce a shock!

It's poor that the leaders are not getting time checks.  Don't know why that is.

So nearly a gold! Silver is a magnificent effort though. Total respect to her team mates as well. A great team. Fingers crossed Bradley Wiggins can take gold in the time trial in mid week!

      What a brilliant race!

It was a brilliant race. It's fascinating watching the tactics and the group at the front trying to keep their lead over the peleton.

Well done Lizzie on getting Team GB's first medal.

I'm looking forward to the time trials tomorrow. Emma Pooley is tipped for a possible medal in the women's event and Bradley Wiggins seems to be the favourite for the men's event.

Hopefully Wiggins still has enough left in the tank to win after the Tour De France and the road race.

Not sur eif the course is tough enough for Pooley she likes some climbs on the course.
I think Brad will do the business he looked pretty awesome in the RR and has had plenty of time to recover.

Would love it if those two got medals tomorrow. May be a bit hard for her because there are no mountains to climb but I hope Pooley does well. A medal is the least she deserves for another incredible team effort in helping one of her fellow team mates to a medal on Sunday, just as she did in Nicole Cooke's win in Beijing 4 years back. She's a great cyclist. And as for Bradley Wiggins a gold medal would be incredible and would top off one of the best sporting years any of our sports men and women has ever had. Good luck to the both of them.

Women's TT, Emma Pooley has just left the start ramp and Lizzie Armistead left about 6 minutes before her.  Good luck girls!

Another brilliant ride by Zabelinskaya for the bronze medal.  Arndt (Germany) takes silver and a dominant ride by Armstrong (USA) takes the gold.

Emma Pooley ended up in 6th place.

Now for WIGGO time!  Good luck Brad and Chris!

Hard luck to her. She seemed gutted that she couldn't do better. One of many Olympians who you can never doubt their effort. That's what it's all about in the end. But fingers crossed for Bradley Wiggins! He could be the hero of the Olympics here.
