I missed Florence and The Machine as they were on first and I didn't get there until after it started. Can't say I'm a fan of what I've heard though. I hate that Kiss With A Fist song....maybe they've got better songs though.

To be honest I haven't heard much of Friendly Fires, heard good things about them though, worth listening to?

I haven't heard any of their new songs either, You Found Me is their first single to be released from the new album. But one of my mates already has the album so i was listening to the songs on his I-Pod.

I might try that one. Previewed a few of their songs on itunes but wasn't bowled over. But I love that Mykonos song though.

I'm listening to U2's new offering - No Line On The Horizon as I type.

A bit of a mixed bag on first hearing: most of it's a tad over produced, anemic and arty-farty for my taste but "Magnificent" and (especially) "Breathe" have the potential to become U2 anthems.

There's a weird track on here called "Unknown Caller" that, like most of the album, may grow on me - I hope so.

The Shock of the Lightning always reminds me of getting in the Kop after the march to Anfield before we beat the mancs this season. I was all sorts of pumped up and that tune was the perfect tune to hear before kick off.

Shockingly good album. Got it Monday and have been hooked since. It must be good as it's took my attention away from the Arctic Monkey's new album, Humbug, which is different to their previous stuff, but also fantastic.

The song Resistance is fantastic, as are the three different Exogenesis Symphonies at the end of the album. Well, the whole album is brilliant. Simply fantastic from start to finish.

Breathtaking, especially for hardcore Muse fans.

Kinda. One of those bands where I've liked the songs that they've released but I've never given their albums a full listen for some reason.

I F***ing love 'New Born'. Guessing it's not like that though?
