Absolutely dire, our one "chance" was a skewed shot off a 1-2 that Suarez created but could not finish.

Downing had no effect when he came on, I don't know why he keeps coming inside when he is playing on the left, he cannot do sh*te there and it obviously shows.

They had Vaughn subbed in instantly to man mark Gerrard when he came on as they knew he was the only way we could get any sort of decent ball up front.

Wickham had like 3 touches of the ball but he held up it far far better than Carroll.

Can't disagree with that.  Runs around a lot but contributes little.  Has yet to step up to the mantle of playing for us.

He's been dogshit all season long - has nothing to his game and he is chosen in our most important position.

I agree with most of your post mate. As for the bit in bold. Lucas is injured, Gerrard was injured, while Alonso, Javi Martinz, and Messi aren't available for selection.

When Spearing and Hendo looked frightened to be on the ball can you blame him? I love the lad but every time Spearing picks up the ball he finds the nearest player and dumps it off to them. No confidence on the ball. He did it in the Man U game and gifted Rooney the second, gave the ball away a few times doing the same thing today.

Mate Comoli said there is quality players for every 2 positions and there will only be a couple of adjustments in the Summer that has to scare the F***ing sh*te out of everyone if he really believes that
