Liverpool FC vs Everton - Tuesday March 13th KO 8:00pm
      Mar 11, 2012 08:41:56 am

Well, after that shocking display yesterday its on to one of the biggest games of our season. After a poor run of form lately, we are only 2 points ahead of the Bitters so defeat is unthinkable! They are on a decent run and come into it after beating Spurs but we all know form goes out the window in these games.

      Their last six league games:

      Blackburn   (H)  1-1
      Man City    (H)  1-0
      Wigan        (A)  1-1
      Chelsea     (H)   2-0
      QPR           (A)  1-1
      Tottenham (H)  1-0

I feel for Kenny having to pick a team at the moment because on current form not many deserve to wear the shirt but motivation should not be a problem. Coates did ok yesterday but I think Kenny will bring Carra in for this and personally, I would drop Adam and Henderson.

                      Pepe

      Glen/Kelly Carra  Skrtel   Enrique

               Spearing   Gerrard

      Kuyt                          Bellamy
                  Suarez
                             Carroll

      C'MON REDMEN!!!!!!!! YNWA

The game is live on Sky sports 1 in the UK.

Couldn't think of a better game for us to have so soon after yesterday's performance.

Lets rock the house and get right at them from the start. Great chance for people to temporarily wipe the slate clean.

F**k how well they're playing and how sh*t we're playing because it's the Merseyside Derby and current form stands for jack-sh*t.

Match them for passion and physicality whilst trying to play the ball then the chances will come.

You can't beat beating the sh*te.

      COME ON YOU F***ing REDS!!

      YNWA!

This will never happen but I would go:

                                                      Pepe

                                           Skrtel            Coates
                            Kelly                                            Enrique

                                         Spearing          Gerrard

                                                     Shelvey
                                Suarez                                  Maxi
                                                       Kuyt

Adam is a liabilty and I can count the positive contributions Henderson has given to the the team on one finger.

I trust Kuyt in the big games so would play him.

Bellamy off the bench late on - cant see him starting so soon after yesterday.

Good job they like to say that 'form goes out the window' for the derby.

I think we will win 5-0.

2 smashed in penalties and 3 shots that go in off the crossbar.

Charlie Adam with 2 goals and Downing with a hat-trick.

Take the tag of underdog for this one, on form they are better and sitting only 2 points behind us should be an incentive for both teams to attack and gain a win.

It is very crucial that we win being ugly or poetic and i would like to see Glen & Maxi in the team.

Kenny spending the money he has & moyes working on a budget would no doubt be highlighted pre match by the media who will look to add further pressure on us.

      Going with a draw.

I am coming down for this one. Can't wait despite the doom and gloom on here and with our recent form.

      I would go with -

                                       Reina

      Johnson     Carragher      Skrtel     Enrique

                        Spearing     Gerrard
      Kuyt                                               Downing
                                 Suarez

                                 Carroll

Would love to see Maxi feature but don't think he's going to get a look in this season unfortunately :(

Think Kenny will stick with Downing. He looked not bad in the cup final. I would play Kuyt on the right as he's a big game player.

Got to be looking at 2 up front for this at home as it's Everton, not Real Madrid we're playing :)

Even though everyone says form goes out the window in derbys and it does, I am a bit worried about this as they haven't won at Anfield for about 50 years and are in good form whereas we've just lost 3 on the bounce in the league.

Really got to be all 3 points in the thought of falling down another league place and behind them is depressing.

Hopefully a good atmosphere and keep these bitters nice and quiet ;)

Stevie's playing way too deep in my opinion (probably due to his injury)

Needs to be drastic improvement. We usually can lift our performance for the bigger games so im expecting a response.

Pity The NextGen games is on Wednesday.
I'd have no problem seeing a few of them in the squad for this.

Don't really know what to think about this at the moment, half of me thinks, great time to play a derby after yesterday, surely to God the lads will be up for this, the other half of me thinks, oh no, everton will be well up for this after their win against Spurs yesterday and we're down in the dumps and far to many players giving a mediocre performance.

I just hope they can push yesterday aside and restore some Red Mersey Pride and grab a very much needed three points, I'll be at Anfield to give my support to the lads 110%  :kop5cf8koxp6:

Here here Racer, some of our youngsters certainly deserve a chance especially if our so called stars assume they have a nailed on place and then turn in a dreadful performance, hopefully a few of them will get at least on spot on the bench towards the end of the season.

The Spuds were really unlucky tho' Cas not to get a draw or even a win, at least it looked that way on MOTD.
No doubt Kenny will ring the changes and burst a few eardrums with some Highland expletives to put some fire in the belly.

This could be a telling game. If the players don't at least play with the same energy they had at Wembley then any optimism I had will be gone. There's no way any of them could repeat yesterday's shambles of a performance.

Want this team to be played.

                                                  Reina

      Kelly                 Skrtel                         Coates                Enrique

                               Gerrard                  Spearing

      Kuyt                                                                              Downing

                                  Bellamy               Suarez

Or Carroll for Bellamy, but i think that team is a must.

The bitters are playing good footie atm, i don"t know how Moysie does it on a shoestring budget ,but it goes to prove that money won"t buy you results all the time. We need to throttle them for our own sanity or they"ll be laughing up our arses for the rest of the season.

We have the quality and I am sure the hunger will be there. Stevie should be back in and I think we will trounce em. I see people knee jerking about putting youngsters in, what? Yeah lets put a few of the youngsters in a derby match at a crucial time in the season
Yesterday was also a crucial game ,and thinking about it the ressies would have played better, so what makes you think that this one will make any difference, whether it"s a derby or not we need to win and if that means shaming first team regulars then so be it, not that i think that Kenny will give any of the young bloods a start, but he might just have 1 on the bench.I would love to see it happen now rather than later.

With our Jeckyll and Hyde performances we could honestly be either dire or exceptional, I'm obviously hoping for the latter. Sure Kenny will have roasted most of the team for the Sunderland performance and I'd be astonished if Adam isn't getting splinters at best on Tuesday.

Gonna go for a morale boosting win and keep them below us, couldn't stand the bragging rights if they manage to get a result.
