^ Maybe going the games isn't the thing for you.

Maybe you need to be commuting for all of our games! ;)

Nah don't forget my first game was a 5-0 win!! And I saw a cup win, after all ;D The rest were accidents.

Just met a few forum members in the pub for the first time, including MsG, El Batez, Kevinho and Danny. Was an absolute pleasure to do so. All being well, going in to town after with Danny. Just in ground. Look out for our banner. Come on Reds!!

Just in the house after the game. Realised it was not Kevinho who I met. Not sure who it was. Either way, was fantastic to meet those who I did.

What can I say. Great performance. However, Everton where sh*te. However, we took advantage. Me and Danny where in the pub afterwards and we kept just saying 'we just beat the Bluenoses 3-0'. Unbelievable!

Just for the record, I voted for Carroll do MoM. Thought he was outstanding. Gerard was good but for all round play, Andy was brilliant. Well in!

Reina - Was rarely troubled all game. Dealt well with whatever came his way.
Kelly & Enrique - Both were rocks, who looked to be back to their old selves. Both kept the ball nicely and both attacked very well, especially Kelly. If had a third MOTM, I'd give it to Kelly. If Kelly keeps up this form then Johnno will find it hard to replace him.
Skrtel & Carra - Just like Reina, they didn't have a great deal to do however, they both did well when dealing with anything.
Hendo & Downing - Both players tucked in well to help pack bodies in midfield. Hendo I thought did excellent for our second goal, great pass through to Luis, then made a run whilst taking his man with him to create space.
Stevie & Jay - Stevie was absoultely magnificent, words can't describe how well he played. Took all three of his goals well. Great way to celebrate his 400th Premier League appearance. Once again showed why he is Captain Fantastic. As for Jay, he was like a terrior. Protected our back four whenever the need be. He also wasn't afraid to push forward and attack, he kept our passing nice and neat in both our own half and the blueshites half. I voted both Stevie and Jay my MOTM.
Luis & Andy - Both players were incredible tonight and harrassed the blueshite defence, non-stop. Luis looked so rejuvinated and was a key creator to the goals we scored. Very un-selfish to tee Stevie up for the hat-trick. Andy looked like the Newcastle player of old. Had some nice touches, had a handfull of great knock-ons. That pass we did to Downing was amazing too. Such a shame that neither could've got on the scoresheet tonight.
Kuyt - When brought on, he was his usual self. Worked endlessly up and down the pitch.

So proud of all our players that played. Can't wait to see "The Holy Trinity" in action again. Well done Redmen! :scarf:

      Watching it again.
Never seen an easier derby win.
Yes they had some moments of pressure but, much like all season
We dominted large parts of the game.
Ruthlessness maybe just having our two best players together was the big difference.
Suarez making Gerrard look like Maxi last season.

Just got back from the game  :kop5cf8koxp6:

You see this is what makes supporting Liverpool Football club so special, you get a crap performance against Sunderland, then you get tonight it's worth all the trials and tribulations, all the travelling, 120 miles there and the same back, all the aggro and negativity on the boards when we lose, I bet the forum's been buzzing tonight with that win..........I tell you what, if we played like that every week, we'd have the League wrapped up by Christmas, that was a F***ing brilliant performance by everyone tonight and I mean everyone.

Not one player shirked their responsibilities, Downing, Hendo and Carroll were boss tonight, these are the players who have taken the most stick recently, but I hold my hat out to them and say well done lads, a fab job  was done by all on that pitch tonight. I was immensley proud to be at Anfield tonight and proud to stand there and sing my heart out.

A team performance this evening, all worked hard and covered each other, let's push on from here and do the same against Stoke on Sunday.

Steven Gerrard - what can I say about him that hasn't already been said, what an amazing player we have, he was magnificent, all over the field tonight stamping his authority on the game and running the show. Stevie Gerrard - I love you

Kenny - leave Charlie Boy on the bench again please  ;)

Semple - great to meet you, and just for the record that was Kelvo with us tonight  :D great to have a drink with you too hun, two top lads.

Going to bed one very happy red girl tonight  :scarf: :kop5cf8koxp6:

I actually love watching Carroll play. I can't wait to see him get better. Of course in the box our players need to be smarter and know each other but that is coming.

Missed the first half (and the last goal!!) as I was asleep and getting ready for work, can't wait to download this one!!! Stevie G you hero :D

It just goes to show that if you take the 100mph blood and thunder out of the derby you're left with football and the team with the most quality won....comfortably. Never ever felt like that shower of sh*t were going to be a threat and if I'm honest we should of embarrassed them tonight, but nothing sweeter than making Evertonians feel even more miserable and bitter than they already are.

Hope Sunderland do them on Saturday too!

How many blueshite players were nutmegged by Suarez tonight?

And finally................. .......................T EN MORE YEARS!!!

      Slow in here tonight.

      We won. Everyone's happy.

As for Steve, different class. Our first last minute goal of the season, at the time when we least needed it. Just hope it goes in the next time when we do.

That's where I was getting at.
He is a superstar not just because of his talent, because of his leadership and being a role model.
I have no idea how he isn't England's Captain.

Now that is/was the Liverpool I love,it did my old heart good to see us beat Everton 3=0.it could so easily have been 5 or 6 nil.We really hammered them in that first 20/25 minutes,it was good to see Stevie playing in a position he is comfortable with and scoring goals as only Stevie can.The whole team played well but I thought Carroll, Suarez and  Kelly were outstanding, but it is probably unfair on the rest of the players not to name them as well.Thank you Kenny Dalglish and the MIGHTY REDS for restoring our pride.
