They say there has been a very small improvement in his condition but he's still critical in intensive care.
It will be some time before they know his long term outlook.
At least there is some improvement , only very small but at least it's improvement.
He's a fighter , he's dealt with some terrible things in his short life , that will hopefully help him get through this.
Keep the prayers going , not especially religious , but it makes you feel as if you are doing something.

Nearly in tears myself watching that

Me too. Found that really hard to watch. Absolutely gut wrenching. Bolton and Spurs fans there were incredibly brave and excellent in their support and understanding of the situation.

I pray he makes a full recovery.

Fabrice is breathing unaided and there has been some movement in his limbs, a definite improvement although he is still critical.

Spoke minimal English and French today according to a friend of his.

Really encouraging news that and also that he was moving and breathing without medication.

      A miracle in my opinion.

Really really hope things continue to improve for him.

I was feeling down the night he collapsed, just awful. Thank God the medics are top class and all credit to them for reviving him.

Get well soon Muamba and hopefully he gets a speedy recovery so he can get back to his family.  :) YNWA

I'm feeling livid right now. Been having an argument with a manc on another forum. He keeps harping about how Liverpool wore shirts to support Suarez, but didn't do the same to support Muamba. Keeps going on and on about how it would have been great PR for the club and all that crap.

PR?????? The last thing Liverpool should be doing is thinking PR and trying to exploit the illness of a player.

      Makes me sick.

The clues in your post mate, he's a manc and therefore has a 96.48% chance of being an absolute cock. Chill yer beans and ignore him, always the best policy.

There you go - 'it would have been great PR for the club' illustrates the profound lack of values the dork has in common with so many of his fellow "supporters", that and being sh*t thick.
The latest update about him communicating is nothing short of miraculous, may it continue.

By the sounds of reports it's looking like he is on the mend, thank God for that.

Ive been involved with two different clubs where players have collapsed and passed away. One was a young lad 22 years of age fit as a fiddle he was and another was 35 left 3 kids behind, shocking stuff and something that is always on the back of my mind.

Found a statement about him on the Bolton official website

      Quote
Fabrice Muamba Update - Monday 19 March, 19.30

Fabrice Muamba remains in intensive care at The London Chest Hospital. He is continuing to show signs of improvement this evening.

He is currently able to breathe independently without the aid of a ventilator. He has also been able to recognise family members and respond to questions appropriately.

These are all positive signs of progress. However, his condition remains serious and the medical staff in intensive care will continue to monitor and treat him.

His family and club would like to thank the media for continuing to respect their privacy at this time.

I was happy to read his situation is getting a little bit better.
