Not sure why Carroll isnt starting 14 months into his time at Liverpool.
Does it show that he's not part of Kenny's plans??

On a lighter note, really happy with team and bench. Some very hungry, young fierce players in the starting line up and and the bench.

Lets hope we're a good few goals to the good come the hour mark and we may see some young talent being unleashed from the bench.

I'd have started Coates and Carroll, but I'm always happy to see Suarez and Kuyt together up top. Really think they should have been the partnership to start the season, but I understand what with Carroll and all.

I would like to have seen Carroll start, but hopefully him and Sterling get at least 30 mins at the end if we are winning comfortably, I hope!

It's possible that Carra is starting so he can be an experienced player next to Flanagan.

Hope Stirling gets 20/30mins rather than just a cameo. Hope Kenny has explained to a few players that thay are not just playing for their place in the team now but their future at Liverpool. Think we will react in the right way to the QPR game and go to town on Wigan 4-0.

Good to see sterling on the bench. Extremely disappointed to see Carragher ahead of Coates. Surprised at ecclestone as well dont see a future for him at the club.
