If the players were tired .. why didn't the ones like Coates, Maxi or Shelvey start? :P

I'm not embarrassed about the performance today. I'm embarrassed about the boo boys. Probably the same boo boys that wanted Benitez - a manager who brought the European Cup back to Anfield - sacked.

How short sighted can some people be? We have someone at the helm of the club who is considered on more or less as high a pedestal as Shankly.

Give him a chance to be as successful as Paisley. This man has already won a double at Liverpool.

Get a f***in grip. Get behind the manager.

Don't force him out. Do you really want another f***in hodgson?

About right mate, those above him need to take a look in the mirror.I'ts all well and good building for the future, but he needs significant financial support in the short-term,to keep the fans on-board.This as they say is a "result orientated business",7th place is not good enough for us,Managers have been sacked for achieving this.Have we now got convenient double standards,or are the owners prepared to publicabley come out and back Kenny with sufficient funds before the end of the season.I call on them to make a statement of intent, for next season.

      Any changes expected should be these;

Coates to partner with Skrtel, Carragher clearly a spent force now.

Henderson a clear sub, when we are like four goals up. Shelvey to replace him.

Em, bring back Charlie? At least he can pass the ball well.

      Skrtel was awful too.

I did just to try and out it into perspective. I took the view that Wigan were the better team and deserved their win, despite us conceding 2 freak goals.

BOTTOM LINE - - - - This season from Kenny has been worse than last season from Hodgson.

      The only difference?............100 MILLION

Just reading back... F**k know why but this is complete bollocks. Embarrassing.

Though I'm incredibly disappointed with the performance today, very much agree with this. Performances can be (in theory) rectified reasonably quickly in reality, provided the right things are done on the training pitch. What is harder to get rid of is the poison that infiltrates a fan base when a few knobs start shouting loudly for hasty change.

Sterling is already more threatening than downing what does that say while every time Carragher plays Skrtel seems a poorer player what does that tell you.

      Mentality?

Could open a new thread on that alone.

If they are all strolling around with ciggies in hand mentality waiting for the FA Cup to make an effort of it .......that may just come back and bite them.

Its seems that winning the FA Cup is  a given.  There are three other teams out there that just may have something to say about that ....
ESPECIALLY  with our last two results.

It seems for the League games there is nothing to play for.

There is. It is wearing the shirt that is Liverpool Football Club.

Saving themselves for the glory that is the FA Cup Final?

I have news. On the last two games showing it just might not happen.

Yes. Ill give you that. The young lad was very impressive.
      Downing?
It seems that he is another one who plays to the occassion.
Back to Plan A.  Get rid.

Id actually start both in the next game...Width down both sides.. Sterling showed something that we havent had for a while though, pace and directness.

Tells me Skrtel is switched to the other side to accomodate Carra and is forced to play a deeper line to accomodate for Carra's lack of pace so teams can push higher up on us and the gap between our defense and midfield grows.

Kenny started Henderson right from the off this season which was a mistake. It would't happen anywhere else, he should of been slowly introduced into the team last 20-30 minutes a game, make him earn his place.

It could be that Kenny was and is still trying to accelerate his progress, well, if i'm Kenny and if he decides to off load Henderson, then  Kenny will need to tell him this ....... "don't say I haven't given you a chance to prove yourself" but after playing near to 30 games, you chose not to prove yourself but remained ordinary.
