      The Anfield Wrap
      Apr 02, 2012 09:11:11 pm
Mods, I don't think I have seen a thread for this anywhere but feel free to merge or move if required.

For anybody unfamiliar with this yet The Anfield Wrap (TAW) is a weekly podcast that goes out every Monday and now also airs on City Talk 105.9FM from 6-7pm every Thursday and is repeated at 7 am every Saturday.

Well worth a listen I think as it has some great contributors and guests such as Andy Heaton, Jim Boardman, Rory Smith and Paul Rogers to name a few.

Episode 35 from last Monday (26/03/12) had some quite interesting theories as to why Pepe Reina's form has dipped and an episode from last month where they managed to get Oliver Holt in was also interesting (Episode 32).

A few who haven't heard of it may like it because like me, they may love the idea of shows like The Sunday Supplement 'in theory' but actually cannot stomach more than one minute of it. This is like a Liverpool Football Club version of that online and on radio.

Easy to subscribe to free through your itunes store or as easy to listen via the website:

      http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/

Just thought we could share our views on points made by the guests and contributors via this thread.

The best of a mediocre bunch of Liverpool FC podcasts that are available, a long way to go before I'd put it on par with The Football Ramble,  though nowhere near as annoying as Jason Roberts (who makes Robbie Savage look like a presenting God) on 606.

Good effort on creating this topic, I've been wondering about this lot for a while. I don't have itunes though, does that matter? Do I have to register on there?

Some of the Anfield Wrap lads have posted two FA Cup line-ups each - one for who they think Kenny will go with and one for they would go with.

It's Peter Hooton from The Farm. He regularly appears on the podcasts and he writes for the website.

Thursday's City Talk show was interesting with some decent points being made by Rory Smith and Paul Salt.

Glad I've got you on it mate.

Yesterday's City Talk one was good - available to download today (I think).

Neil Atkinson is really good and I tend to agree with most of what he says.

Ye its, funny too. "Chester zoo can F**k right off, know you're role Chester Zoo" about dinosaur part of Chester Zoo. Classic.

Hope its available today I'll be able listen to it at work later.

Atkinson tends to be the voice of reason doesn't he? Who is the posh scouser who loves Kenny, I quite like most of what he says too. Sounds a bit older than the others.

      It is mate, just checked.

Atkinson done a live phone in after the show with Gareth Roberts too - not sure whether that's on the download though. Might just of been for the radio.
