He missed out on soo many fouls in the box and the sideline tool missed out on Kuyts goal.

Decent game.  Looked a lot better in the second half.

Shame we haven't got a striker.  Ah well - maybe next year.

Players reacted well to going 1-0 down and stuck at it.

I must add. We have been at the receiving end of very ugly refereeing since January 2012.

      3 penalty shouts denied?

A blatant foul carded as simulation.

I don't even know the difference anymore between a shoulder charge in the 18 yard box and a blatant penalty......

      Sick refereeing.

Looking at Villa think they could go down, Heskey up front, bard and ireland in midfield and Warnock left midfield

      Absolutely hammered these.

The difference a finisher would have made to this team this season.

A decent finisher would have gotten us at least 20 extra points this season. I wouldn't be disappointed if we put our whole transfer kitty on a quality attacker in the summer.........

I have fear on Suarez' future if we're not progressing fast enough.
We deserve to win but Shay Given is still a good goalkeeper...and a lucky one as well.

Seconded.  We should have won but I am pleased with the way we fought our way back, creating chances.

And how long does it take Shay Given to take goal kicks?  He was taking the fecking piss.

I gotta say tho, Henderson's passing game in midfield impressed me. However, he should work on his shooting.

And we need Agger fit badly!!

Better second half but f**king hell that is a terrible result against possibly the worst Villa side i've ever seen.

same applies our team too ryt?

and considering our run of form this is a good result imo

We shouldn't feel entitled to penalty decisions if we feel it's the only way to win matches.

Yea not on Kuyt missing an absolute sitter.

Arm chair critic. Did you forget to measure the speed of the Gerrard Ball that Kuyt tried to intercept? Or have you so forgotten the first goal Kuyt scored that was denied as a goalmouth clearance?

Ireland and warnock. Both are pretty decent.

What Warnock as a wide midfielder and Ireland in a holding midfield role, i dont think so.

You have to be beating Villa at home

That performance was what we needed, we might not of won but at least we didn't F***ing loose. The players showed hunger and desire, in the last 20 minutes they were on fire, unlucky not too win.

Henderson was great today, he looked so confident in the middle of the park, i feel we will see great things from him when playing alongside Lucas.

Suarez played well, always looking to do something with the ball, unlucky with a couple of the refereeing decisions but i do think he needs to try stay on his feet a bit more.

Kenny made the right changes at the right time in my opinion, at first i was baffled why Agger was coming on but when he went out wide, he provided more danger than both Enrique & Downing did.

Not happy with the result but pleased with the performance, a step in the right direction.

Make them all drink a pint of Red Bull before the next game, if we can start the games like we sometimes end them, we would have the games won in the first half.
