No Raheem again.  Disappointing.  Stevie has travelled but not even on the bench.

Johnson returns. Agger closer to fitness. Coates and Maxi get to start. I'm feeling reasonably optimistic right now. Would have liked Stevie on the bench though.....

Shame not to see Raheem, could easily drop Aurelio from bench, no sense having two LBs there...

Really disappointed that Sterling isn't on the bench, considering he didn't play for the reserves. Really disappointing.

Obviously one eye on the semi's. Never sure if that is a good thing, certainly not for tonight , but for Saturday as well.

I just hope we don't blow it tonight as we need the confidence imo.   

I just hope the players get stuck in and just forget about the FA cup semi final. If we focus, play well, we should win it, convincingly.

I quite like the team, plenty of energy and players wanting to prove themselves.

Made up for Coates, Shelvey and Maxi to get some game time.

Any win, closest to 100-0 the better, of course.

Massive eye on the w/e with that line-up, no surprise and have to agree. Would of liked maybe Sterling on the bench but whatever. Interesting to see how Carroll fares in this, think it's set up not to suit him, so what him bag a brace now. Either way my main attention will be on Hendo, Coates and Shelvey.

Add Carroll if you like. Great to see the younger players given a go tonight.
Hope it fires them into a big result.

Will be great to see how this pans out.

Even if Hoillett goes to the left Glen will be on his preferred foot to him and that seems their main danger.

Not too confident to be honest, I think I have reasons given our latest performances. Good to see Maxi and Bellamy involved though, and Shelvey finally getting a decent run in the side, so we can know for sure what we can expect from him at this stage of his career. And I hope this is the game I've been waiting for the whole season... the moment Carroll shuts me up and proves me wrong, cause I'm not too happy seeing him in Red of late.

There was an interesting piece in one of the papers today (well, a few of them) saying that he is a bit intimidated by his price tag.
Obviously I don't know how true the "interviews" are but it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm not sure he's the only one who needs to step up tonight, but would be great to see Coates score another spectacular goal

Good to see Maxi and Johnson again .

I had predicted a draw but now I am feeling a lot more optimistic, for some unknown reason. I think this will be a 2 - 0 win, got a good feeling. Bellamy and Carroll to score. 

I don't quite understand Bellamy's inclusion, if he can only play one game in a week, then this will mean that he's unable to start against Everton because of his knees.
