Blackburn 2-3 Liverpool: In-game and post-match celebrations

Comical goals conceded, great play by Shelvey and Maxi, thought they were both excellent. Hendo carried on with another good performance too considerign he was asked to play out of position, just needs to find that bite or guts to his game as there's a few challenges you know he could win and he just ducks them.

Great moment for Brad Jones and thankfully we won it at the end so his penalty conceded can be forgotten. Thought Agger inspired the lads with his drive and determination to win and you could see it rub off on a few of them, Bellamy end product was pretty poor today but his effort and the shift he put in has to be comended, didn't stop running the entire game. Spearing pretty invisible, seems weird to not really have an opinion of how he did after watching him play for 90mins but he really was anonymous.

Carroll got his goal which he finished well after earlier missing an easier chance so I give him credit for that and it could be a very important goal for confidence heading into the weekend but he is the laziest player I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing and 1 header does not make up for the game he had.

Coates for me was excellent and so wa Skrtel both playing some good stuff. Would definitely start Maxi and Coates at the weekend, think they're both miles ahead of Downing and Carragher.

Loved Kenny's 'header' when big andy was going up for that Agger flick on. You can see he wants to be out there himself still!

Delighted for Carroll to get the winner, had me jumping all over the room. A good goal it was too, though having said that we'd be crucifying him if he missed it. Nonetheless, a well battled hard fought performance, and one which should give all of those out there tonight a massive morale boost. They worked their socks off and in the end got the break they were hoping for.

Special mention to Coates for that lovely ball back in straight onto Agger's head.

I can see why Sterling wasn't on the bench - Blackburn are a very physical side and they showed it tonight. It wasn't pretty a lot of the time, but F**k it, we won and I don't care about anything else at the moment.

What about Maxi then?

F***ing brilliant. Miles better than Carroll. Really though, Diego after a win like that just enjoy it rather than knocking the lad.

We must make Carroll into a hero now! The lad needs confidence, we must give it to him!

Great result against the odds. Have to say though, they never really looked any better than us with 10 men. Better attitude all round probably because we went down to 10, but at 2 - 0 after 18 I thought we would cruise it. Calamity, Calamity, Calamity. Can't remember seeing another game with so many crazy incidents. Can't see how we got so many yellows when Carroll was fouled all night long and although we got a few free kicks for it, how were their players not carded for fouling him until 80 mins. We really are up against it with these bias refs. Still great to see the big fella get his goal and trust that puts us back up above the bitters. Wonder what Moyes saw in all that. F**k all that will help him on Sat exept he knows Brad Jones will be in goal. F***ing tw*t. Would have loved to see what we were capable of with 11 on the field though.

So, he scored after not doing anything for the whole match.
That's what he is being paid to do.

Thought Carroll was great tonight. Puts himself around, good touch, scores a winner. We need play him regularly and support him, he is 15-20 goal a season player, would be a massive mistake to get rid or just keep dumping him on the bench. Bellers was superb as well.

l felt it, thank u Liverpool, wonderful staff and loved the never say die attitude. I geuss GOD is smilng at us again.  A BIG SCREEAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have said it before, at the moment we need Bellamy on the pitch as much as his body will allow.
For me Agger should be next captain when Stevie gives it up. Skrtell is becoming very important also. Thought Coates did pretty well too at the back.
Henderson had moments but still a lot of back passing. Think Lucas return would be awesome right now, sadly cant happen.
Carroll long term is not looking good, did what he needed which was score but we have been here before and thought he had turned the corner, id love to see him come good to shut people up but I long term I cant see him being here.

He's 23 years old.  Bigger strikers mature more slowly.  Let's support him eh.

I was saying that the last 10 minutes against Villa, we busted a gut to win. Well tonight we busted another gut. That's what effort gets you.

Carroll is never going to set people's balls on fire with his displays, but tonight, some of the abuse he took was, to be frank, fecking downright disgusting.

Strikers are all about goals and it will be very interesting to see how KK handles Carroll come Saturday.

Great effort, we dug in, with 10 men, away from home, against a team fighting for their Prem life.

We haven't been winning, so you have to win any way you can.

Tonight we won ugly, and it's 3 welcome points, and the timing of the goal will get everyone pumped for Saturday

Couldnt watch matches like that every week my heart couldn't take it ,well done to the boys tremendous effort .
MOM was Big Andy  ,Bellers nippy little f**ker ain't he worked his nads off ,Henderson put in a shift to ,why he never went for that tackle is another story.
