A rollercoaster would be the best way to describe that game.

      Spot on mate.

What a game, had everything. Just glad Andy popped up with the goal that gave us the 3 points.

Well done to Maxi as well, he starts, he scores twice. JD said it earlier, he's a 45 minute player. So Kenny start him against the Bitters, he'll get us a goal and get the momentum going hopefully. Sub him at half time if you want but I want and he deserves to start.

Great effort from the rest of the lads to win the match playing with 10 for the last hour. Hopefully that gives us some much needed spirit for the rest of the season.

I can't believe all the infighting going on in the last 10 pages. We F***ing won finally and got a much needed 3 points. Let's embrace it.

Honestly I got up this morning and was on such a high, I can't actually believe some people have woke up and just concentrated on the negatives. Shocking.

Great win last night with 10 men for over a hour, Maxi giving Kenny a headache for Saturday was my motm followed very closely by big Andy, thought he was boss putting himself about and putting a shift in,thoroughly deserved his winner,

there were a few 'brain fart' moments mainly down to inexperience,ie Doni & Flanno, felt so happy for Brad saving the pen, great moment for him, Shelvey did himself no harm,Hendo impressed and Glen @ LB was superb, Skrtle as captain showed great maturity and his 60yard pass was a worldy, didn't know he had it in him tbh, more of the same please Martin,

Bellers experience was instrumental and Agger coming on influential and provides an assist yet again,
fantastic win from the lads especially with so many regulars missing, a huge confidence boost for Sat's semi against that 'Shitty we club' across the park, did anyone notice 'Bogeyes' on his spying mission?

      Kenny;
love the man, love his post-match interviews, especially on Sky, he knows what they are up to,he is very much aware how they try and try to trip him up, he knows what a bunch of Manc lovin, fergie's cock sucking wankers they are, he treats them with disdain for which they deserve for all their bullshit, Rafa was the same, he also knew what they are like, hence his piss taking of them,

Kenny and LFC know one another better than anyone at Sly or any other media outlet, what happens inside the club is no one else's business, for Sly to insist certain questions be answered is bang out of order, most other clubs will do their best to give media sources certain info that appeases them and that's fine, but at LFC it's different,we have alway's kept issues indoors, hopefully always will, and it is this that narks the journo's, it irritates the sh*t out of them because they have nothing to exploit, nothing to twist and turn into some sh*t storm that's detrimental to those they target,

F**k sky,F**k the other media tossers who continue to attack LFC, LFC exsists to appease the fans coming thru the turnstiles, not to appease some F**kin no mark journo nor his/her editors so as they can knock us off our pedestal, personally i wouldn't let them Kunts anywhere near LFC until they learn to respect Kenny and they way this club is run.

                                    In Kenny
                        YNWA
      great post mate 100% agreed.
Sky and most of the other media outlets have shown very little in the way of respect to one of the most decorated a revered clubs in the world nor to one of most decorated player/managers to ever put on a pair of footy boots over a great many years and certainly not from Geoff ( porno moustache) shreeves.
I could not of asked for more from Liverpool last night.
Win loose or draw all I want from the men in red is effort ,determination and guile which is what we got last night.the result in the circumstances will do us the world of good going into the semi on Saturday .

Just seen the Kean interview, its not even been mentioned that Hanley basically got Skrtel in a headlock and it should have been a pen anyway.

It would be interesting if someone did a video of Hanley vs Liverpool, like lfctv do when one of our players get man of the match. I'd quite like to see that if anyone has a lot of time on their hands.

I don't know why anyone is being negative over this.

I can't think of a better way to galvanise the team going into the semi final. Down to 10 men, not a single decision going our way, no Gerrard, Suarez, Lucas, Reina or Carragher, and we've just lost our 2-0 lead. Not to mention the poor run of results leading up to this game.

Considering all that, the fact that we won the game from there is pretty F***ing good.

Last night's win was one of the highlights of the season for me.

      Hanley's F***ing sh*te.

Should have been booked for persistent fouling and then should have been sent off when he got that yellow.

"10 men and we took 3 points.10 men and we took 3 points!"

What a great feeling, seeing the grit that was put out on an away field tonight!A fill in keeper,Glen at LB,Hendo filling in at RB even.No Stevie,Luis,Pepe. And we get 3 points.Fan-f***ing-tastic.....then one reads thru a few posts and read people still moaning!Like WTF!!!Can't some of you so called supporters at least give some credit where its due?Would love to see what these same people do for a living and what type of shift they put in!!

Had to choose Andy as my motm.I know he missed a gift of a header, but he did give 100% for the whole 94 mins and got a just reward.Shelvey looked good too.

                                           Wembley,here we come!                   again

Could it be in the players' thoughts ..... "leave it to Stevie to do all the attacking and Luis the scoring, we just make sure we pass the ball to them" Without both they have to do it all by themselves. Just a thought.

The most important thing that I saw in the match is the fighting spirit till the last second and it has arrived at the right time against the bitters next. If we continue to play like that and continue to put pressure on the opposition defence, the goals will come. Looks like Bellers and Maxi is thinking must faster and has better positioning than the rest. The rest will need to learn from both of them. Happy for the lads.

Have to say, Dalglish, Torres, Fowler, Molby, Aldridge, Rush, Gerrard...

I've thought about this for years off and on, but John Barnes for me was/is the best player we've ever had at the club.

He was so exciting to watch, and on his day he was the best player on the planet.

      Absolute total genius.

Man of the Match = Someone Else = Brad.

But Liverpool’s top-flight form has been so poor in 2012 that Blackburn, locked in a season-long relegation fight, have secured more wins and points than Kenny Dalglish’s strugglers.

Its amazing we have 3 different goalkeepers, two with red cards one with a yellow in the space of three weeks. Seems really fishy to me yet united players offside and diving and nothing done.Isnt it auto matic for goalkeepers to try and stop a player from scoring by falling to the ground.i cant see a red card for this penalty yes.Any other opinions on this? Now we go into a FA semi final with one 3rd string goalkeeper, and no back up.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. As a youngster Barnes and Beardesly in the same side together was the most exciting time i can remember as a Liverpool fan. Hence my profile pic!

No complaints from me that it was a red card. Doni made a meal of it and the ref had no choice but to send him off.

We will have cover for Brad Jones. Peter Gulacsi is being recalled from his loan at Hull.

I think the sending offs were justified but in a harsh way to some extent. Pepe Reina was stupid to do it but Perch's reaction was disgraceful. Doni had not much choice but the pass from Flanagan didn't do him any favours either.

Anyways, it was nice to see Coates (21), Henderson (21), Flanagan (18), Spearing (23), Carroll (22) and Shelvey (20) all in the game.

I thought Coates was great last night and is improving every game. Our defense is sorted when all fit.
Thougth Andy Carrol played in loads of positions lastnight and at last put in a Liverpool performance he can be proud of and he got the winning goal.
Thought Satuday was going to be a nightmare but thats gone now and we always turn up for the big games anyway.

      Me too.

Mad game that.  Carroll worked his bollies off and deserved that goal, Bellamy and Maxi looked good too from what I can remember.

Three points ay, been a while!

Bring on the blue sh*te now and I can safely say I have not got a F***ing clue what team he will put out for that one.

Pretty crazy game. I went nuts when Carroll's header hit the back of the net  ;D

I really don't care if it was "only Blackburn" or not, that was a hard-fought and earned victory. Being down to 10 for 65 minutes or so AND still trying to win the game after they equalized? Brilliant stuff. That's what you expect from a Liverpool side. The effort and attitude were awesome from the players. Not once did they get their heads down, and I'm really proud of that.

      - Maxi is Maxi, what more can you say other than he's been severely underused?
      - Andy did a great job with possession yesterday. His hold play was good, linked up nicely with Maxi and Bellers I thought, but he could have been a bit more aggressive at times getting into the box. Absolutely delighted he the winner.
      - Jonjo. I love that kid. So much confidence.
      - Bellamy looks like he's getting back in the swing of things. Nice to see. Johnson and Agger too.
      - Jordan Henderson was immense. He's really growing into a player I think.
      - Speaking of growth, Coates! Good game for Seba. Played a magnificent ball from deep to Agger to get the win. Should have been playing more.

No MOTM for me. That was a team effort.

Amazing game for a neutral i'd say. For myself and my guess is most people here it was nerve racking...

A great team win nonetheless and at a crucial time. Things could be so different right now, if we went two goals up and drew 2-2 or worse lost the game then confidence would be shot to pieces today. But to fight to the very end and get a late winner whilst down to 10 men shows the strength that this team can have when they fight. Bringing this belief to Wembley is a huge plus for Kenny and the lads.

The dramatic way we won is a confidence builder in itself but a late goal and a late winner at that for Carroll will give the lad a bit of belief and get the critics off his back for a few days at least.
