Might as well start the thread since it's this Saturday.

Big game, this. Merseyside derby in the FA Cup. We should play our best to get the win and enter yet another domestic final.

I kinda want Bellamy to play but the only player I can take out is Carroll!! As for the right back and left back spots, I don't mind Johnson on the right and then Agger/Aurelio on the left as well. If Agger is not 100% fit to start, play Coates.

Wouldn't put Flanno there, at all.  Would pit GJ at right back and JE at left back and Hendo in place of Shelvey

Other than that, spot on.

Honestly think that team could do so much damage, the link up play between the 5 of Shelvey, Henderson, Suarez, Gerrard & Maxi would be immense. Carroll will also bring another dynamic to the team and after his performance tonight i think he could be very dangerous.

And Maxi HAS to start.

The fact that he hasn't got much game time this season is just criminal!!

No chance imo that Flanagan will start, and I actually doubt Maxi will start either.

Life's a gamble albeit a little less random than the supply that comes out of our middle third since Lucas got injured

Lets face it Kenny will try and play as many scouse lads as possible within reason which would mean Spearing starts in the centre of midfield.

I personally believe that will be our starting 11 for the semi-final. I am not saying this is fully the team that i would want to see us field but when considering some of the people that played a lot of the game tonight such as Maxi, Carroll, Bellamy etc, theyre most likely to drop to the bench.

Who would have thought we'd have a goalkeeping crisis for this eh?

Well...suddenly picking a team for this is a difficult one.

Carroll, Bellamy and Maxi made their claims with their performances last night and Dirk always does well in the derby, along with the fact he didnt play at all last night suggests to me he will start. Im sure Kenny will start with Downing after his performance in the CC final and Henderson has started the majority of games this season.

This is what I'd go with but dont expect it for one minute. I cant wait for my second Wembley trip of the season

Massive game this, considering our abysmal league performances, nothing less than a win here for me.

To all giving Flanno heaps cut the kid some slack for fck sake ,i called for him to be taken off as soon as the second foul went in ,that dont mean i think he is sh*t ,he is young and will learn ,be a bit patient people,.
 
As for the game on sat i dont think he will get anywhere  near the team ,he might make the bench and thats as far as it will go.
