Big move by FSG this is. I think this is not the last of it either. IMO Kenny only has the FA cup left to save his job. The rumours that FSG have had enough and want to sell up, could have some weight and they are now realising that thier moneyball system is not going to work out.

Does this suggest Comolli had the majority of say with regards to the recent signings..?  Looks that way.. Either way it sends a message to everyone.. Not good enough.. We all had our own ideas about how KK and DC's relationship worked (final say) but this tends to suggest DC was majorly responsible? A direct/indirect message to Kenny too perhaps?.. Kenny may actually agree with his dismissal.. Then again I've just briefly read  on twitter quotes from Kenny saying he was responsible for everyone who came in??..

Some may argue our owners at times could have been more involved in past issues but one thing which is reassuring to me is that they arnt fooking about with the money decisions as expected..

General consensus is Kenny highlighted the players he wanted, but it was Commolli who was tasked with negotiating the fees, which were outrageous in most cases.

Kenny cant really say anything else though can he? not without destroying the confidence of last years signings, ie like the way Woy wiped his hands of the Joe Cole transfer, not great for morale.

There are claims made he left for family reasons................. .....yeah right.

Given Kenny stating the transfers were his, is he under threat but being kept on due to pending cup tie etc and to keep disruption at minimum or has Camolli been sacked purely based on his wages and fee negotiating?

Just to clear 1 thing up: all of #LFC's signings were jointly approved apart from (definitely) Adam and (reportedly) Downing. They were KD.

Does this weekend's game brings Kenny's position into question?

Shocked, timing suggests mutual consent, sceptic in me believes it's more to do with the value for money we've got on our signings. Gonna wait a while and see what more comes out in the next few hours before forming in a full opinion.

Apparently FSG have had enough and want out, but this suggests otherwise. It seems that they want success badly and won't put up with another terrible transfer window.

Comolli gone. Surprised that they didn't wait until the end of the season. Maybe from his point of view this gives him more time to find something else before the following season, so it was agreed he go early rather than wait. Who knows.

Either way, it certainly sends a message that the owners are not happy with the season so far.  Still think a good finish to the season and KK should be OK (though the FA cup would help) - the owners do specifically mention focusing on improvement in the PL for the remainder of the season. The spirit shown in the game against Bburn was really important IMO - shows players still playing for the manager.

But you have to say it looks like these guys are not going to stand on ceremony.
