Not just Carragher, but Downing as well. Where is the effort from Downing? Kenny has started him constantly and he simply has repaid the faith Kenny has continually shown him.

I just had a huge debate on facebook with some guy and I was defending Kenny but some of the points the guy made I couldn't reject and one of them was team selection. He's not making it any easier for me today either You know, to make a mistake is human, to persist with them is stupid.

I know how you feel. I back Kenny and all but I really don't get his team selections.

Suarez is hardly getting a sniff at the ball. He can't do anything without it.

Possesion means sh*t when you are constantly passing backwards. "Duels" mean sh*t when you dont win the few that count. "attempts" are useless when you count 3 shoits from outside the box, and a back header

Its acceptable making a couple of mistakes in the cup but kenny has rightly fu**ed up his team selection for this game. How Kuyt, Maxi or Bellamy havent started yet Downing and Henderson did I will never know, if you dont start your best players in the biggest game of the year how do you expect to win. Please see a bit of common sense and make the changes that every Liverpool fan everywhere can see we need.

Hes ruthless when it comes to Maxi who time n time again scores important goals for Kenny but never drops Downing after countless sh*t and gutless performances !!!

Disagree on Downing. Been fairly anonymous, and it's clear Bellamy or Maxi would have been far superior playing LW.

Downing is playing bad IMO. There was a couple of occasions where he could have easily released Suarez.
