      Leandro Damião!

It will be nice if (and that's a big IF) we finally win the gold medal in football, but doing so by playing such poor football would be a bit disappoiting no matter what. We were lucky not to concede any goals in the 1st half. The worst of all is that it will certainly mean Mano Menezes staying until 2014.

Oh, how cruel for Canada, USA score in the 123rd minute!

Yeah, very cruel for us bur hey they are on pace to break Olympic record for tickets sold for the USA V Japan final and isn't that what it is all about

In a weird sort of way, yes. Women's football is treated very poorly and is under-appreciated, under-reported, and under-publicized. So hopefully these Olympic games will grow the women's game more.

Congrats to the US women. An excellent team with some very good players. They've now won gold 4 out 5 Olympics (and got silver in the other). An incredible accomplishment.

Yeah she's very good. But don't be thinking impure thoughts there young man. She just came out as a lesbian ;D

All kidding aside, that's a very brave step by a player to come out, especially one who is a top international in the women's game. Will be years before an equivalent men's player does the same.

Japanese players going down quicker than a $10 whore.

S.Korea just can't play as any contact and they dive.

      S.Korea 1-0 up.

Great goal, started with a Japan dive, but the Ref played on.
