FA given permission to speak to Roy Hodgson for the England post

West Brom give the FA permission to speak to Roy Hodgson about the England managers job.

This would literally be a moment if Woy gets the England managerial position.

WEST Bromwich Albion have today received an official approach from The Football Association to speak to Head Coach Roy Hodgson about the England Manager's post.

The Club are currently in negotiations with Roy about a new contract - his current deal ends on June 30 - and remain very keen to bring these talks to a successful conclusion.

However, Roy has expressed a desire to explore this opportunity and, accordingly, the Club have granted him permission to speak to The FA.

Chairman Jeremy Peace said: "Roy has done a fantastic job over the past 15 months and the fact The FA want to discuss the England role with him is testament to that.

"Roy is a proud Englishman and we can understand why he wants to speak to The FA about this highly-prestigious managerial position.

"However, we have emphasised to Roy how much we would like him to remain as our Head Coach and continue his major contribution to our project at The Hawthorns as we look to establish ourselves as a Barclays Premier League club.

You know I've been banging on for ages about a clueless FA with no regard for the fans for F***ing ages. The whole FA F***ing stink up the whole of football. From the way they lick up to whiskey nose to the handling of the Suarez saga right up to the robbing tw*ts taking supporters tickets to make a fortune selling them corporate!
Im sick of old clueless idiots making wrong decisions for our national sport!
And now they've really taken the piss, Woy has proved in today's game he cannot handle the pressure and can't manage top players. He may be a good training ground coach as many other coaches mention however he proved with us he's not a very good manager.

I could go on a lot longer and talk vendables and clough etc, but I think I've made my point.

Good with the average sides but poor with the top ones, so suited for England, might be able to grind results out against the bigger powers. Will get England to Brazil with his 30-whatever years of expewience, even past 'formidable opponents' like Lithuania etc. hopefully 'avoiding losing 6-0' against Sweden and so on.

Can't wait to see the media burn him after they forced him on us.
