I don't think he is the right man for the job but he has been employed and people have to get over it. Some peoples comments about the man are exactly the same as the sh*t paper's front page headlines and fancy being compared to that?? A ball has not been kicked yet and already the haters are out in force, at least give a bloke a chance and a bit of backing now he is in charge. I hate negativity like that, lets criticise once the games start but personal attacks are just not called for..just an opinion.

Any comments about him on here are based on his time here and his stupid F***ing gob, I don't give a F**k about how he does for England and I for one won't be backing him. If you want a love-in about him go to the FA website, I'm sure the mods there are licking themselves like cats at the thought of you turning up.

Capello is a far better manager than Hodgson, regardless of the English factor. Given more time Capello would have done a great job for England and getting rid of him was a cock up of the highest order by the Farcical Arses. He may not have yet proved to be a 'great' International manager, with only one failed World Cup under his belt, but when you speak of a man who has won a league title at every single club he's managed, you know he's one of the best.

For the record I think Hodgson will probably do okay for England but there's not a chance in hell of winning anything with him as the boss.

I just turned on 5 Live.

Steve Claridge claiming Roy's teams are better away from home and championing him. You have to ask has any F***ing clue about Roy's past?

Listening to hodgson he can't even remember his own past, he's constantly bigging himself up as a brilliant manager.

Forgot to say after the presser yesterday that one of his usual depressingly negative comments and proves he's on the back foot already was "I want the players to back me". In other words, when the inevitable happens he wants the media to blame the players and not woy.

      Bleeding f**king heart.

I also noticed he was talking about how big a job he had on his hands.

He really knows how to inspire confidence.

I'm no big fan of Harry Redknapp but you can bet in his first press conference he would be saying how good the players were, how much he's looking forward to working with them etc and generally making them feel at least a little inspired.

May not make any difference but it really is giving the players a chance to get of the hook if things go worng and also Roy can say he knew all along it woulkd be difficult.

Good luck any of you England fan's as you're going to need it.

Why would he need to tell anybody? His CV will indicate all of this...

Not sure if he has ever mentioned his CV

I love when he speaks of himself as one of the most respected managers in Europe...

I mean, seriously... :D Talk about being deluded!

I think Brendan Rodgers in one season has gained more respect than Roy in decades

what an exciting time we had when Sir Bobby was manager and El Tel, Hoddle unlucky not to reach semi's of the world cup. The atmosphere is better

Yeah John Barnes being booed by an English crowd at Wembley.

Take your xenophobic sh*t somewhere else, England are F***ing sh*te, followed by moronic gobs***e fans who couldn't create an atmosphere if they F***ing tried and that band want F***ing shooting as well for murdering Ring Of Fire and have the manager they so richly derserve.

Capello was a great manager for England.
Had a very good campaign for England during the qualifiers.
Disgrace that he got shafted by the FA over Terry.
Roy,s about what they deserve after that.

Agreed would have liked Capello to stay on, giving his brilliant CV, but no the masses and the FA had to get an Englishman.

Anyone else miss Sven? He was quite a likeable manager and got us further than hoddle, keegan, mclaren, And even Cappello.

      Great work Woy  ..

Every team he has managed on the table has had more goals scored against than have scored !

Bernstein will certainly have his defining legacy.

      Kenny  Win rate 54.23%

      Capello Win rate %  57%.

I hope his managerial incapabilities get shown here.

Fcking deluded owl thinks he's one of the world's best.

35 years experience of losing, that is.

      November 1st 2010?

It was when Roy criticised Rafa or something and Rafa was manager of Inter.

Some people cannot see a priest on a mountain of sugar....ie the English press. Unless that priest is standing on a mountain of sugar which is the England national football team.

I would be very impressed if he got England to the semi-finals but i doubt after the first 2 games England would be left to play for anything other than 3rd spot in the group.
