Missed the game so no comment.

But i guess it was the usual scenario creating chances and not taking them and no luck shining down on us and we concede against the run of play?

      Not so much Shabs.

We had a few chances first half which were decent but also a few long range shots.

Second have was pretty dire and a sheer lack of desire and effort from the vast majority was a bigger factor.

Missed the game but it's never nice to lose, regardless of which players was put out.

I see Skrtel captained the side!

      Raheem Sterling.

This lad showed more enterprise and attacking intent in fifteen minutes than all our other wingers have shown all Season.

For me this lad is a nailed on starter for the Final on Saturday, F***ing greased lightning.

Went for Skrtel MoTM. He was the difference between the two sides IMO.

I don't think there's too much that can be said about that. We were poor. As for the selection, I think the team out there was good enough to win bar a bit of a lack of creativity in the middle. I think the subs were bad, but starting XI was fine.

Carroll - good first half, but faded in the second once Aurelio went off. He was aggressive today, which I really liked. Good effort.

Shelvey - Started poorly, grew into the game, then dropped off again after half. I think being dropped deeper hurt his game (a bit like Gerrard in that sense).

Maxi and Kuyt were so-so. Maxi was better than Dirk, but didn't do as well once he moved to AM.

Henderson and Spearing were shocking. Quite dreadful, really.

Coates and Skrtel were good. I like Seba a lot, kid has a bright future and SHOULD be playing a lot more next year.

Aurelio - I missed him. Forgot how classy a player he is. Showed Enrique how it's done in attack, played some great balls into the box. Disappointed he was taken off because he was playing great.

Kelly - He's had better days that's for sure. While he's had a bad game, today also showed why Glen Johnson is ahead of him. Kelly just doesn't do it for me going forward.

Doni - Great game. Probably our overall best player. Really wonder if he should have played a bit more....

      ---

Downing - Was OK, nothing special. But also didn't bring much.

Enrique - Don't know why he was brought on at all, really. Aurelio was playing quite well, especially in attack, which Enrique didn't come close to matching.

Sterling - Love this kid! Bright future ahead for sure! Much more suited to the left than the right.

      ---

I just look at this one and think "whatever." We looked lazy and disinterested out there. That to me is more disappointing than the result.

Anyone who had a chance of forcing into Saturday's side may have lost it then and rightly so.

If the manager gives you a chance to show what you can do, at least show he was right to give you that chance.

you need to give the fans something though to get them excited, and that was just dire. maybe only having 5 wins in 18 games is starting to take its toll on the season ticket holders.

Not really mate, we were pretty sh*te tonight. At a push we probably deserved a draw but we created little, as did Fulham but Fulham had the best chances.

That's what bothers me the most. If anything, Aurelio and Doni showed they want to be in the final (although very slim chance of either)

Just enforces the fact that we have no quality in depth, and half of what we have got need moving on. The footy has been o.k. of late, just not scoring enough but to take out three top players and perform like that. What a shambles, We need rebuilding in the summer if that's the best we can offer against a poor Fulham side. The footballing nous from most of the players out there tonight was close to nil. 9 Changes Kenny made, but that was from the last game. It's not like none of them had palyed at this level before, they've been involved quite a bit through the season.  Huh, Supose that answers it all really. Think we are now officially a mid table side. Can't find the words to express how pissed off I am and am looking for a miracle at Wembley now !

How about a free plastic flag put out on their chair for when they arrive?

Home fans have been sh*t most games this season mate, and it's been like that since I can remember.

First time i've said it on here, but i've lost count of the amount of times i've repeated the phrase "When the f**k is Raheem Sterling going to get a start?!"

Once again i'm left wondering what reason Kenny has for not giving Raheem a start! Doni, Coates and Shelvey had a decent performance!

Despite Kenny not picking Raheem i don't feel that he can get the blame for the performance, yes they would need time to gel properly to put in a significant performance, but the effort wasn't even there for me tonight! Shocking!

      Abysmal.

Let's just say Kenny was not the manager, the players were as poor as they are and we've won both the FA Cup and Carling Cup with our league position the same as is now, would you be calling for the manager to be sacked?

Think about this. I'm not knee-jerking but all things considered, Kenny is lucky he's a legend.

The fans need to be excited? How about watching there team 4 days before there team go to Wembley for the FA cup final. Granted you can get worn down when results are not going great or when your watching ppoor performances but that crowd was poor from the start, for all tha crowd knew they could have been in for a treat tonight with 7 or 8 goals but there was no buzz at all
