Slightly tempted to go with Carra but given his lack of pace I'd rather he stayed benched till later in the game when his experience can come to the fore.

I'm hoping Kenny will go with a fluid midfield that allows Stevie to get forward more so he can create something for Luis but also get wide when Downing inevitably finds row Z instead of Andys forehead. I wouldn't gamble with him but Aurelio showed last night that getting a ball to Andy IS actually possible and Downing should bear that in mind when he thinks of his future.

I really think that if the game allows for it Sterling should get some time to shine towards the end of the match, it could be that making of him.

Carra will play. I can tell. Overall I'd prefer Fabio to play at left back, but I just have a gut feeling that Enrique will be benched, and Agger will be shuntied to left back. I think it's crucial, and when I say crucial, I mean crucial, that we play 5 men in the midfield. I'd like to see Jones on the bench as he deserves a medal after the performance at Everton.

My ideal lineup: Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Aurelio / Enrique; Shelvey, Henderson, Gerrard, Maxi, Bellamy; Suarez.

You're right on both counts I think. If I was an opposition manager I'd be splitting Carra in two constantly, his reactions against one man with pace is suspect enough but send two players at him and he's a penalty kick in waiting.

What has Enrique done wrong to be potentially dropped from the starting 11? And if Carragher starts in the final ahead of Skrtel then it is a joke!

That would be my starting line up for the final. Just because Bellamy doesn't have many 90 minute matches in him these days doesnt mean he shouldnt start such an important game for us, could always bring him off after 60-70 minutes if he starts to fade. He has done far more for us this season than Kuyt, Downing, Carroll etc so he should get the nod ahead of all of them. Could there be an outside chance that Maxi starts in the final maybe? i doubt he will but would be interesting to consider based on his goalscoring recently against the blue sh*te and his link up play with Bellamy and Suarez is great a majority of the time.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aurelio start over Enrique.

We WILL WIN ! I have the reverse problem to you I'm going into the lions den, a party held by our friends(entire family of Chavs !) other guests also Chavs, I'm the only Reds fan there but Bev and Lucy will be wearing Reds shirts in support !
3-1 to the REDS I noticed a distinct lack of support for Carra to be included,and think this could be his last season ! a great stalwart for the club.
