It’s always been debate if he/she is or isn’t a Liverpool supporter anyway. 😂

You have a point in a sick type of way Jim.  :lmao: I’ll certainly miss Klopp when he takes his break. His last game in charge  ( Europa Cup ) will be a very poignant moment not only for you lot but football as a whole. The only thing I take grace in is that you won’t find a better manager than him. 😂

You keep reminding us of this debate you have with yourself. President Putin's propaganda, is more believeable.

      Quote from chats
Can't fathom any proper Liverpool supporter trying to defend the decision not to give us a penalty in the last min against City.

One of the clearest penalties you will ever see.

When the incident happened, there was barely any protest from any source. One player appealed 15 yards away, a handful of fans in the Anfield Road joined him. Nobody else.

If the incident was the other way round, the merest hint of a questionable call, and at least half the City team would crowd the ref instantly*, then the officials would be roundly booed off the field. For whatever reason, we didn't do that. It's only when the replay was seen, that the debate started. All I did was explain why the call was made, that should not be taken as supporting/agreeing with the decision, because I don't. If it is, then you're wrong.

      *as they did against Spurs/Everton.

I don't get one thing someone please tell me if the actual referee can ask them at stockley park to give him a second look at something via the monitor.   I mean with the facility available he should at least once in a while ask them am not sure about this incident can I have another look.

Nobody else was interested in responding to you. So I will.

The short answer is, no he can't. He tells him what he sees, and the VAR then studies the footage, to check if what the ref saw is a clear and obvious error. If the VAR believes he got it wrong, he'll recommend an on field review. After that, it's the ref's call.

Just because I’m bored , what happens when the ref misses a blatant hand ball then and var pulls it back , it suits then does it , so your saying that handball against arsenal wasn’t a clear and obvious error are you ?

You really are wasting your time Andy on trying to debate VAR with him.
Debate should be a two way thing but it is only one way with him.
Strange really as he must do a two way thing to get over to Liverpool.
Anyway, I gave up with his "logic" sometime ago.

What’s annoying is in the past pre VAR when you went into the new week sure you’d mention the refs etc but the main topic of conversation was the football, players, managers etc… it seems every week now the main topic everyone talks about is VAR and refs and football is the secondary subject… sad really…

Like at work yesterday, we didn’t mention any of the football played etc we just talked about the rubbish referring and VAR involvements from the weekend, and that’s a group including a scouser, a scum and a oil baron fan… who’d usually be queuing up to rip each other, but instead we’re all finally in agreement, unfortunately that agreement being the refs and VAR are just simply not good enough… it’s ruined not only football but I feel the love for and chat for football in real life situations during the week… the magic, the banter… it’s all gone.

I could easily name 20 members on here that I class as friends & pen friends. I even have 5/6 help me with work stuff. Plenty of love in this camp Jim 😂❤️

Terrible tackle from Jackson VAR not interested FOOKING USELESS

Gabriel bundles into the back of Madueke in the most blatant way possible, about 10 seconds before Arsenal's 3rd goal.

      VAR says no.

VAR says it evens out the Jackson call.

      VAR is working!!
