Drunken Disorderly & Fox In The Box!!

Watched the youtube video of their training today and everything about it looked so shoddy compared to what we do, the training ground, the way the coaches take training, the players' attitudes. I mean, they were doing warmups and rondos same as us, but it just seemed so dodgy, like some amateur team of guys having a kickabout after their other jobs.

Maybe I"m being unfair but it was just....poor.

To be fair having driven a black cab in the city for nigh on 30 years I will say out of all the footballers I’ve picked up (from both clubs) Ferguson an Jeffers are two of the better ones. Still don’t want them to win F**k all though 😊

Have to say that opening goal and Duncan's reaction was a memorable moment.

I don't mind them getting a result today as it means Chelsea drop points - and to be honest it would leave something of a void in our schedule if Everton went down. I wouldn't cry myself to sleep over it or anything, but....

Everything about this match though says Chelsea should strm back and win, but I was saying that last week about Newcastle vs. City, so we'll see.

Was an absolutely predictable performance from Everton. Tbh the Ferguson reactions with the ball boys  was more about geeing up the support. Great moments for those kids.

Seen this on Twiter, if true the derby in January could be interesting as he's always seemed to be a thorn in our side, except 2005 that is.

Surprised at this as it was reported he wanted Arsenal over Everton, due to the London connection. Arsenal seem to have stalled as they think they may get Arteta. Everton just seem to be going with a name, not what they need. A recipe for disaster, I think.

Give Ancelotti his due,he said he wants to start at the bottom.He can't start much lower than Everton can he.

At least in his retirement he will be able to reminisce about how he went from managing players like Kaká, Cafu, Nesta, Maldini etc to managing Keane, Pickford, Walcott and Niasse etc.

Good manager, surprised he'd take job though, surely could've gotten something better if he bided his time.

Cant wait for all the noise to start. Wait until he actually sees the squad he has to work with and then realises all the wonderful players he has had success with and now this. Its a great retirement present for him. Good manager lousy fit

Well if Carlo enjoyed watching that load of sh*te today he must be into some weird self abuse sh*t. They were just awful today they even made Arsenal look good at times

I'm genuinely surprised Ancelotti has gone there. He's always been an excellent manager of big players, particularly in cup competitions, but doesn't strike me as someone to do a job as the underdog. Still, for Everton as a club that's quite a coup, it is after all one of only 3 managers to have won the Champions League three times (along with Paisley and Zidane), and probably the only one to have won all big 5 leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France). Let's see how well it goes for him there.
