Got to give them credit for managing to pull Ancelotti off in the first place, but as mad as it sounds, that's probably the easy part

The hard part is now for their cynical, trigger happy, deluded supporters to actually stick it out with a manager for a change, even if things don't at first go to plan.

There's also the question of whether Ancelotti has the patience himself. 60 years of age - is he really going to be up for a "project" like Everton? Because it's going to take a good few years to get them really moving in the right direction. A few years which he might not have
