my Day started off with a game from 1951 when we were in Div 2 think it was the 5th round of the FA Cup. It was at Goodison but shown for the first time on Screens at Anfield with 40,000 there and gate receipts of £12,000 . The day started off well because we actually beat them 4-0 little did I know it would get better with Carlo jumping ship.

Allan was actually statistically the #1 rated defensive midfielder in Europe's top leagues taken over a number of years when he joined Everton so it wouldn't be a surprise if Ancelotti did want to take him to Real, though they've got Casemiro already so I can't see it happening. Allan could leave and go somewhere though, even if it's not Madrid. If I were a blueshite he'd be the player I'd least want to lose.

Ancelotti's Napoli seem to have caused us more problems than any other side in football in recent years and Allan played a major part in that set-up. It's surprising how few players have been cherry-picked out of that club considering how good some of them are. I'm amazed Koulibaly's still there but I guess even the likes of Man City won't pay £90m for a 29-year old centre back. Hopefully...

think Rafa has said he would previously he would not dismiss it out of hand. However the guy is a shrewd operator and has been putting some healthy deposits into his back these past 10 years or so.
Its more than 10 years since he left us and I just hope Mrs Rafa has a word along with his "scouse die hard Red" daughters. Wolves is a good move and he can still get home every day to Rafa Towers overlooking the Dee.
