Seriously, I think their doomed, last two seasons in particular they have managed to scrape themselves free of relegation, I’d be surprised if they did it again, the FFP points deductions didn’t help and I believe they have more coming their way,
Their f***in skint, can’t buy any players and it’s looking likely they’ll need to sell to help to bring in much needed finance, but that won’t go to Dyche for transfers it’ll go help pay off a bit of debt,
I said a couple of seasons back that they should have went down, took it on the chin and rebuilt from there, as usual with that lot, they’ve done it arse about tit, they should have secured new owners first before a spade was put in the ground, instead they’ve borrowed money from investors who had to borrow the financial clout themselves, to build that f***in Skip at Bramley dock, and now the NEW investors are dragging their feet, and the so called take over is in limbo,
If they go down, I can see them doing a Leeds, and possibly drop into the second tier, funny isn’t it, well, it’s not really is it ?
We all like to take the piss, especially if yer Scouse and have Blue family members, that’s part of the banter, but in yer heart of hearts you’ll want them to stay up, and yes so we can continue to take the piss, what you shouldn’t want is them dropping like a stone one or two leagues, that wouldn’t be healthy for the City, we would all miss the derby, miss that build up, miss the aftermath, and you would definitely miss those bragging rights after a Victory, and we’ve had the vast majority of them over the decades haven’t we?
Being a wool it’s a bit different, woollybacks won’t fully understand, for us it won’t matter as much, myself I do love taking the piss and slating them as much as possible, but deep down I think I’d miss the derby too !!
The worry is, that if indeed they did drop, how do they get back, Leeds fans didn’t think they’d take so long to get back either, ……
