After Chelsea the other night, deffo think Shelvey is in with a shout, so long as he keeps improving he'll deffo be a great distance shooter Agger, Gerrard, Carroll are good with the power shots, while Suarez and Johnson are good shooting with the side of their foot, curling the ball from distance IMO

25yards?  Probs Maxi and Suarez.

35 yards? Gerrard, Carroll, Agger, Maxi.

Best long shot in our squad, I'd say it's Gerrard.

What make me really wonder is how this season we manage to completely remove this kind of ability from our players. We all know so far how good Stevie capable to shoot from a long range, or the like of Adam, Suarez, Agger etc all seem suddenly can't hit a target from long range. Anyway I have a hope we can improve as we all see from Suarez and Jonjo's goals later of this season.

Think Bellamy is pretty good at them too. I'd like to see Agger take a FK if we get one against Swansea, but whenever we do have a FK it seems Hendo or someone ushers him away.

Because his last 10 attempts from FKs have gone straight in to the foot of the wall.

People think he's great at free's because he slapped one in and hit the bar from 30 yards or so early in the season.

I've been waiting for him to do it again, but as you say all his other attempts have been sh*te
