Had a feel and a really close up look at all the new kits yesterday in the Anfield shop, still don't like the away kit, but I'm growing much fondness towards the 3rd kit, its very very dark purple and the white sleeves aren't at all bad.

There's loads of the black/red tribal stuff on loads of stuff though, bags, scarfs etc, not keen.

I reckon it will, can't see them changing it back tot he crest, especially with the introduction of this Mighty Red kids mascot!

When the lads first came out on the pitch last night, one thing that stroke me was how orangey-red the kit was. It took some time getting used to the color.

I thought it looked excellent out there, but I can see what you mean when a bright sun shines on it.

It's funny how I wasn't fond of the home kit but liked the black kit yet after seeing them in the flesh today I quite like the home kit and not loving the other two kits. Be ordering my home kit this week me thinks.

Probably, that was my first thought, the color was different from the red I was used to watch LFC in.

The quality is sh*te lads, it"s all gone nobbly and the Suarez patch on my young lads is starting to peel away already. I never had that problem with Addidas.

I've worn mine a lot so it's been through the wash several times. I wash it at 30°c and NEVER tumble dry it and it still looks brand new.

I do agree about the colour though, a shade darker would have been nice. When the first images came out, eurored suggested it looked like the McDonald's colour scheme and he wasn't far off. It's not blood red and gold it's bright red and yellow.

Got it two weeks ago and haven't washed it yet as i can't bring myself to take it off so can't comment on that yet.

I only ever cool wash kits and then hang them up.
Had a problem with a "discount" one before and have been cautious about washing them ever since.
Never bought a "discount" one since either.
