Would have no problem splitting our "war chest" between Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao

Bank-rolled them before though haven't we, we were really nice too and gave them Luis.

Who would you take from Atletico? And I can't see them wanting to part with Falcao!!

      Apart from him then...
      Suarez.
      I just can't get enough.
      Very good player
Also Diego is an AM that would be fairly cheap,
Although Aquilani might leave us out of that market.

Could end up in a bidding war with the mancs though.

I'd rather spend £50 million on having at least four of them refs hunted down and shot.

We financially backed Newcastle last season, should do the same for Athletic Bilbao in the summer!!

We could also spend it on a name change for you, how about ThePushForFirst, doesn't sound as lame as fourth does it?

HR - I've got a mate i grew up with called "the badger". He'd sort out that lot and give you £49,999,900 - and that includes his expenses.

De Jong is a good shout. Would City part with him though?

Not sure about Nigel De Jong - dont mind him as a player just not sure bout spunking the sort of dough I think City would want, plus wages on cover for Lucas

He's out of contract next season and isn't signing a new deal, there's talk of him going to Inter (12m) but apparently he wants prem football.

He'll cost a fair bit on wages but he's quality and a partnership with Lucas would be pretty damn solid imo

On the posts asking if we can get Lavezzi for 15m, i think we can. Italians are selling teams and i don't think they'll be parting with Cavani so going for Lavezzi is a decent punt.

Won't be much more than that, 20m max.

Nah mate I was thinking David Villa, if it had been Aston Villa I would have only offered about £3.50

If Crouchinho is right about Lavezzi's price I would have him too btw.

If Diame is on a free I'd take him. Been impressed when I've seen him, have to admit I poo poo'd him in the past but I think I was wrong.

Hoilett would be good but I'm thinking our chance may have gone and he isn't keen on the NW apparently, or so I've read on here and elsewhere.

If we are looking at value, those two would be good.

Spend the lot on Falcao and offer Rodriguez or whoever else as part of the deal if they rate him more than 50 mil.

Can you imagine having Suarez, Falcao and an in form Andy Carroll next season?

      We missed the boat mate.

Of course if i was in Comolli's shoes we'd have Falcao, Sanchez and Pastore but no, we went for an overpaid Frenchman and he got sacked anyway ;)

Will be fun this window, i feel. Whoever comes in i reckon will be no mug.
