RIP 97

It was for me, like all of us a very emotional day

I listened to the service on the radio as i drove into work this morning in LA.

What a beautiful service.

I wore a black shirt and my beloved 35 year old Liverpool scarf even though it was very hot....and i couldn't have been any prouder of those who attended, spoke and represented our family.

I explained to a fair few of my american colleagues the significance and the tragedy that affected all of football and all went away today with new found anger, sadness and pride for what the great city of Liverpool endured and continues to due to the incompetence of those whom are meant to safe guard us all.

25 years later it still feels as sad and ridiculous as it did all those years ago.
Today, all of the rational world became one.

Thank you to LFC, Liverpool and the football community as a whole.

My heart breaks for all who grieve every day.

Beautiful rendition of YNWA, and thought both managers spoke well. My heart is tearing apart watching it, only managed to sit through snippets of it without breaking down, so I can't imagine what the families have had to deal with for the past 25 years. My love goes out to them all. Y.N.W.A <3

I don't remember the massacre because I was not born but being a foreign kopite I feel for them and their families. I know what it means for a disaster to happen in your family (my uncle died while hunting bird because of a thunder light).

Let's hope the souls of the 96 who were taken this day 26 years ago are resting easier now that the truth has begun to come out about the events leading to there death.

They and there families in our thoughts not just today but every day. May they rest in peace

We are on the home straight now for the TRUTH and when the TRUTH is finally out hopefully our 96 souls will REST IN PIECE. Never forgotten.

Thoughts are with all the families and friends of those who never came home on that fateful day 26 years ago.  Your courage, determination and bravery is a shining light to us all and I hope when the Justice you've been fighting for all these years is finally granted, your broken hearts can at last start to heal.
