      Long overdue.

The timing of this does get me wondering.

I was in the Kop when he scored on his home debut against Newcastle(I think?) and ran to the Kop and beamed that huge smile at us all with his arms aloft.
That smile is always there with Kenny and his sense of humour cuts you in half.

I had the pleasure to meet him at one of his charity dinner events and have my photo taken with him.
Like a servant before his king I asked him to pick his favourite goal he ever scored in a Red shirt..
His humble answer to me was "They're all my favourites"
Although he did hint that his winner at Wembley against Brugge and the title winner at Chelsea stood out.

If you had to pick one goal... what would it be?

So many to choose from mate.

Probably lean to Brugge but I remember a few pearlers curled in with left foot from inside right channel.

I remember Keegan leaving and Sir Kenneth's first game and straight away it was "Kevin who?" we could see straightaway this guy was a proper footballer.
Little did we know then that  he was an even better human being.
