I find this as well mate. We are definately still the biggest game of the season for the majority of the league and this probably links to why we are the most hated team. Pisses me off when fans of small clubs like Stoke and Norwich give our players and fans stick. We deserve more respect than we get and it Fucks me right off.

Because, that was the game where our decline (if you can call that) started. We had finished second the season before that, all set for to win the title the next season. Going into this game, we had just thrashed hull city 6-1 at home (still remember Stevie's wonder goal in that match). Fiorentina's manager also gave an interview saying Rafa was his role model. And guess what, we lost the game 2-0 to a Jovetic performance. And, it has all been downhill ever since

And, hate Chelsea with a passion cos they are spastics made of plastic.

However there was some bad tactics in our team. E.g. playing Aurileo (sp?) as a holding midfielder was a disaster.

They hammered us 3-0 in the European Cup when we were at our utter best back in the day (1979).

I do remember that Aurelio was out of his depth in that match. But, other than that and Jovetic's performance, I remembered nothing from that match. So, I googled a little and found out that Mascherano was not playing because he was sick at that time. And Aquilani was actually injured.

But, I thought it was a good idea to do this at that time.Aurelio is defensively strong and has a good passing range. You cannot really blame Rafa for trying that, can you?
