We don't hold all the cards tbh. Fulham know that we are desperate to replace Carroll and Spuds as ever are sniffing about.

That was my first thought. I reckon we'll get him for about £5.5million - the money from Adam and Carroll's loan.

Apparently he needs toput in a formal transfer request , I am not sure , but if true I wish he' d hurry up and do it.
Getting more and more desperate , it's looking increasingly likely that we aren't going to sign anyone.
Really think the owners need to look at the bigger picture , we need Champions League to attract the best players , unless we get 1or2in who can get us goals we are not going to do it.
Why did we let Carroll go if we had no firm plans , it just doesn't make sense , nice football is great , but we still need to win games!!

Come on corbs, give it a rest. You're right about some things, you're wrong about some things. Nobody is perfect, especially when it comes to opinions.

You should be hoping that signings can come good, but knowing you you're probably sitting there with a smirk on your face, happy in the knowledge that you can say, "HA! I WAS RIGHT, I WAS RIGHT! HEY EVERYBODY - LOOK WHAT I SAID LONG AGO! I WAS RIGHT!!" when a signing turns out bad.

Yet for the rest of us it's Liverpool first, our opinions second. I want everybody in a red shirt to do good - can you say the same?

To his credit, Corbs has said several times that Allen is far better than he expected.

I said Adam and Carroll would be terrible signing I actually said Allen would be decent.

Dempsey will be along the lines of Adam and Carroll.

And red its possible to be a Liverpool fan and give an honest opinion just cant see when Dempsey became Lionel messi.

Who else were interested in him ya villa and Sunderland says it all.

Tottenham will be able to field 2 full Premiership teams at this rate. Every time I look they seem to have signed someone else !
