Can you imagine if that was his reaction after winning the SPL though.

'So Brendan how do you feel'

'Ah, it's a bit sh*te really isn't it. I know 60,000 of you turn up here every 2 weeks, but I'm not too arsed really'

He not only has to kind of brag, but quite rightly. You can only beat what's in front of you. As for the SPL, saying the championship is better is an understatement. Celtic are a Championship level team, the rest are league 1 or below.

Yeah - bottom of the SPL is probably non league standard truth be told. Look at Inverness Caley Thistle. David Raven, ex Liverpool reject from 13 years ago, is their first choice defender and he wasn't even good enough for League 1 sides Carlisle and Tranmere when he played for them (released from both) and that was 6-8 years ago.

Aye it's real poor isn't it. Been living in Scotland for 8 years and not once have I even wanted to go to an SPL game.

It's terrible. So impoverished with a league riddled with dinosaurs/thick as pig sh*t coaches (nothing will convince me that Lee McCulloch has what it takes to be a coach let alone MANAGER of Kilmarnock). I've caught some Australian A League football on BT Sport recently. It's a fairly new league but the standard is considerably better than what you see in the SPL.

      This one:

Obviously Glasgow Rangers' fans having a dig at their detested enemy.

Think it's based on a scurrilous rumour that did the rounds while he was in charge of us about him and a benefit-cheating trans-woman.

Why wouldn't he be, won a league title and will play Champions League. He got to be manager of Liverpool as well. Not too bad for a guy with shiny white teeth.

Nice touch from the Rangers fan with the monkey gestures at Sinclair! They never fail to be moronic up there!
So close to an invincible season now, even if a poor league that's a fantastic achievement.

      Great effort indeed.

I'd guess next season he'll be targeting a much improved European campaign.

No doubt he will, but if they again get drawn in the same group as Barcelona, Man City and whoever the German team they were in with last time, I wouldn't personally bet on them doing much better. I could be wrong but in Europe I think they're bang up against it to achieve much. Lets face it none of the English teams have done any good in it for years either.

True Mick but maybe getting third and a good run in Europa could be a target for him.

Great stuff by Celtic and Brendan. Delighted for him.

As much as I want them and Brendan to do well in every match they play I do hope they come up against us in Europe...and we tan their f**king arses. By the time we've finished with them the 'Green Brigade' will be just that.

It may sound overly aggressive but you can't give an inch to anyone. You really can't!
