Also know parts of Leicester I know where I would prefer.

Could be a good move for Brendan, to join Leicester, a bit more of a challenge for him. Anyway wish him well, think he could do a decent job for the club.

One of the reasons I’ve always felt so at home in Liverpool mate.

Sense of humour - especially the gallows type humour so similar.

Had a great stag weekend in Leicester in ‘97 for my big mate Jimbo.

Stayed in a wee village called Leire and ended up swimming in a fish farm pond at 4am with a local woman.

Bishopbriggs is one of the northern suburbs - it’s just a residential area really with a wee bit of a town centre.

I’m on the southside last 20 odd years but I grew up in a satellite town about 8 miles east and 5 miles or so from Parkhead.

Glasgow - again like Liverpool - has seen massive commercial investment / redevelopment in some areas in the last 20-30 years (post Thatcher).

So many different parts to it now - its a wonderful, cosmopolitan and multi cultural city now.

Anyhow weapons are away I just get a bit defensive about my hometown ;)

Moved to Glasgow in 2009 to study at Strathclyde and do a little work beyond that. Stayed until end of 2016. Not been back since but would always welcome the opportunity to move back there. It's a beautiful city not just the people but the way it looks.  It's full of grand history and superb architecture be it the old tenements or the main shopping streets like Buchanan. Those wonderful panoramic views of the East End looking towards Celtic Park and beyond from the Necropolis just next to the Cathedral was always a favourite spot of mine. The truly outstanding Merchant City where many a good time would be spent and your Argyle, Buchanan and Sauchiehalls were, pound for pound, the best shopping town in the whole of the UK. A good refuge for a bit of retail therapy after witnessing many a Liverpool defeat in the year of 2012! Oh and who can forget Strathclyde Union, scene of 12 hour Tuesdays no less (a pound a pint!). And then there was Sub Club. And Firewater! Will always remember the fond memories of walking down past the Cathedral, past the necropolis and then up Duke Street stumbling out of friends digs back from a night out. 6 o clock in the morning. Nurses walking by going to work and all that. The golden years 2011-2013. Only great memories yet the sad thing is you only realise how great they were till long after the event.

Like has become the theme at Leicester, no doubt he will be out of a job in 18 months.

      Bigger challenge than Celtic though.

In which case, you have to question why he gave up the chance to win multiple trophies in a safe job, to go to an uncompetitive club that go through 2 coaches per season.

He has obviously taken a gamble in moving to Leicester, from the safety of managing Celtic. Brendan obviously feels that he is ready for the challenge of the premiership and possibly more lucrative rewards. Although as the above poster pointed out, his position is far more vulnerable, if he does not live up to expectations of his new club, only time will tell.

Don’t worry, once he gets Kolo on the pitch, order will be restored.

Seeing a back three of Morgan, Evans and Maguire tells me he has learnt very little.

Not much ball playing. No pace. Asked to play a high line.

Could see Watford knock a few in here.

Doubt it. Read the other day he was saying how tough it was with Suarez leaving and how the club never replaced him. Then said about how tough it was with Gerrard then leaving....well who’s fault was it Gerrard left Brendan? Who decided to bench Gerrard for the most crucial games of that season Brendan?

The interview just seemed full of excuses in why he ultimately failed with us.

Leicester's defence need shooting for the last goal it was dire. It was a funny game and again some poor REF decisions I hope to God our REF doesn't bottle it today.

3 wins on the bounce, including against a tricky opponent in Bournemouth, seems to have gotten them playing with more confidence and Maddison has upped his game. Fair play to him, hopefully he can do us favour soon.

What makes you think It is Rodgers that has got them playing with more confidence? You don't have the same information as Rodgers or the players, therefore everything is guess work. For all we know, it may be his assistant manager or perhaps even the owner doing the tactical work and motivational talk.

On a serious note, If Rodgers does do us a favour, he will be a legend in my eyes :D
