Liverpool can today confirm their League Cup fourth-round tie against Swansea at Anfield will be played on Wednesday, October 31 and will kick off at 8pm.

It will Brendan Rodgers' first meeting with his former club since he was appointed Liverpool manager in June this year.

A brace from Nuri Sahin helped a youthful Reds outfit to come from a goal down against West Brom at The Hawthorns and set up what will be an exciting clash against Michael Laudrup's Swans later this month.

Not cold enough for snow, but rain could happen, it's England, we always get rain!!

It was quite cold yes, especially that wind. But afterall a very nice atmosphere in the Kop. I enjoyed Swansea game a lot more than Newcastle game
