Charlie Adam was similarly awful in his first season.  So by your wonderful reasoning, he should have gotten another season to prove himself, right?

No Adam shouldn't have gotten another season for the simple fact that he had already played a full season where as Borini has been injured for most of it so again you are assuming things and getting them wrong.
