Seydou Doumbia (CSKA Moscow)

Liverpool are considering renewing interest in CSKA Moscow's Seydou Doumbia once they have a new manager in place.
Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish were keen to take the 25 year old to Anfield with his proven strike rate as they considered options to rectify their poor goals return.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have also shown interest in the Ivory Coast striker but their main rivals are Napoli who are keen to find quality replacements for Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani.

Liverpool target: Seydou Doumbia could head to Anfield
CSKA have put a £26m buy-out clause in Doumbia's contract but his representatives are hopeful that can be reduced.
He is eager to come to England and has impressed with his strike rate in Russia and Europe. Arsenal have also watched Doumbia in the past but they want to see how Robin van Persie’s contract talks develop.

Seriously though, I have not seen him play much but liked the little I saw. A pacey poacher, good finisher, linked up well with Vagner Love upfront for CSKA.
