Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina)

I'd be thrilled to get him, but I've read a few others are in for him as well, probably from similar sources linking us to him.  I feel him on the left, AC in the middle and Suarez on the right of a 4-3-3 could be very dangerous.   

And he's only 22 if I'm not mistaken? so  he'd have, in theory, quite a few years in him.

the only reason I'm not dismissing this is because I could see Aquilani off to Fiorentina in this deal but us still having to pay 15m~. I know player plus cash doesn't happen much but we really want to get rid of Alberto and Jovetic would be a dreamy signing.

On this general valuation note, I heard today that Fiorentina have valued Jovetic at e25m. Now valuations are always top heavy for negotiation purposes so surely available for e18-20m??

This is value in my opinion - and perhaps justifies shipping out Carroll?!!?

Mcmulled, depends if that valuation is their actual valuation or just their initial asking price. I'd say they can get 25 for him, so wouldn't be surprised that's what they really want.

As much as he excites me as a player, I don't see him coming here right now.
