Euro 2012 Betting Thread

I'm not a big better but I generally go well in this tournament, Had £20 quid on David for the Golden Boot at the last one and a cheeky £20 quid on Milan Barox at 16/1 at Euro 2004 so fancy me chances again this time around.

Van Persie is the favourite for the boot this time around but it's hard to look past him at 9/1 so have had a few quid there.

Also chucked a tenner on Italy to win with Balotelli getting the boot at 80/1

Other good shouts for the boot are Benzema who is at between 22 and 25/1 depending where you look and Thomas Muller at 25/1 ain't bad for a lad who won the boot at the last World Cup.

Most of the sites are doing free £25 bets if you sign up as a new user although it's a pain that it has to be settled before you can claim it.

I went for 10 bets, fiver on each including RVP top goalscorer, modric top goalscoring spurs player for the tournament, england and holland to score more than 6 in their run in the tournament, gerrard not to play every minute of the group stages, england to beat france, lewandowski to be top scorer for poland and a few others

And a £1 Lucky 15 on Gomez, Benzema, Jelavic and Keane being top scorers for their country.

The missus has just had Stevie G to score 4 or more goals at 33/1.

Not too shabby a bet if we can get through the group. I'd guess he'll be penalty taker with Lamplard out.

Stuck a bit on Poland tonight.

Muller and Germany looks a bit doomed given that they are playing him out wide by the looks of yesterday but I've still got a good feeling about Italy and Balotelli this season. They always seem to do well when they're being accused of something! Gomez off to a good start yesterday plus I was pretty surprised to find you could still get 10/1 on Dzagoev AFTER he had already banged in 2 goals.

Last chance saloon for the Euro 2012 betting tonight. I'm playing catch up. Might have to be Italy to lift the trophy to get me out of jail. £50 worth of 5 pound bets and i end the euros with no win, no loss so happy days considering, Spain to concede the least goals in the tournament at 7/1 saved me, only had 6.88 before the match haha.
