He is brilliant. Him and Xavi. He does the small games well but does the big games even better. He never lets anyone down. They should be the blueprint for every aspiring footballer in Britain today. Yes you want young kids to try out all the silky skills Messi and Ronaldo can show but more importantly teach them the beautiful simplicities and the cohesion Iniesta displays. Too many kids want to be like Messi and not enough like Iniesta. Would Messi be the player he is without Iniesta and/or Xavi for that matter? I doubt it. Too often football overlooks people like these in favour of the more headline grabbing players like Messi. But these are the players who hold the keys to making the likes of Messi great. Football isn't just about goals you know! Give this man World Player of the Year. In fact make Pirlo second as well. He was simply incredible for Juventus in Serie A and was the catalyst for their trumphant return to the top of Italian football. And, like Iniesta, stunning at Euro 2012 as well.
