Oh really disappointed there. It was an incredible effort against the top seeds and the Belarusian's really showed their class in the end. Cannot complain with a silver though. Well done to the pair of them!

Unlucky Andy and Laura but well done on winning the silver.

I bet nobody thought that Andy Murray would win a gold and a silver. I know I didn't.

The doubles final has been played already?!

Jesus, isn't it crazy stuff? I mean, Andy just played a final... I thought it was tomorrow or some day during the week, if I knew it was today I would have watched it

Congratulations to Andy Murray for the gold.

I've always maintained he is good enough to win the big tournaments but just needs to believe in himslf and so pleased for him.

Hope he continues this form in the US next month.

Also great for him and Laura get to the final in the doubles and trying to beat the top seeds was always a big ask.

Congratulations to Brit Andy Murray on his gold medal today in the mens singles!!

While I'm on, commiserations to Scotland's Andy Murray on his silver medal in the mixed doubles. Unlucky!
