Maurine looked well pissed off, in fact I thought it was his dad turned up for the post-match interview on MOTD.

Nice of Assaidi to come up to Liverpool to watch the under 21s today.

Can you imagine if it was Johnson marking Assaidi there? Somehow it would become "proof" that he is a terrible defender; Ivanovic, meanwhile, would be listed as "one of many" fullbacks that are better than him. (Sorry for going slightly off-topic ;))

Great goal by Assaidi, his best moment for LFC so far!

      That's one clip.

Johnson does it almost every game. He's done it twice in our past two games vs Norwich for their goal and vs hammers for Maiga's effort.

Very similar to his first goal for them. He does have a damn good shot on him once he's cut inside. Wonder if he's have it in him to become a useful player for us.

I'd be tempted to bring him back and cancel Moses' loan. Think we've downgraded there.

Got to agree, the only thing Moses has is his "power" (which is proving somewhat mythical at the moment). I personally suspect Assaidi isn't good enough for us longer term, but the 3 million quid we paid for him is increasingly looking like a fairly safe bet. Borini has forced his way back into the Sunderland team too and has become a fans favourite. If Brendans biggest "misses" in the transfer market are buys like this, he won't go far wrong.

Assaidi scores again and another beautiful goal against Everton, i think that he deserves another chance next season.

Certainly showing he is no one game wonder this season when it comes to scoring, putting them past all the top teams at the moment! Have to keep a close eye on him, could be a handy player to have around.

Failing that just loan him out all the time to get us more difference in points with the teams he is beating/drawing with ;)

Surely a better option than Moses? & I'd imagine on half the wages.

Not to mention you actually get the impression he WANTS TO BE HERE and shows a bit of fight.

Looks a good impact sub to me, which is what I thought for some time when he was being overlooked last season.

We signed him for 3 million quid didn't we? Seriously, this kind of "flop" I can well and truly deal with. Stoke would surely pay half as much again on top minimum if we sold him as of now.

Second highest scoring Stoke midfielder now (with 3 league goals) - just 1 behind, wait for it... Charlie Adam (Stoke's leading goalscorer from any position). Oussama has a goal every 239 minutes played. Which, weirdly enough,is identical to Charlie Adam's 'rate'.  :o

Who called him a "flop"? The lad was never given a proper opportunity here and the few occasions when he did play showed plenty of desire and potential. Far more so than that bone idle tw@t Moses. Sparky has already come out and said that he'd love to sign him but has been told in no uncertain terms that "he wants to go back and prove himself with LFC". That to me speaks volumes. Yeah he could take the easy route for 'regular' playing time and move on but clearly he just wants a decent crack here to prove himself first.

I still think he hasn't got game intelligence, or the concentration to stick to instructions. He has good determination and feet though so hopefully the games at Stoke will help him improve. No matter what you say about him he is exciting to watch when on form.

Seems to be enjoying his playing time with the 'clay heads'.

Should we sell him and on current form make a quick profit or let him come back to perhaps warm the bench...if he's lucky?
